How about decorating your Christmas tree with pine cone ornaments? This simple idea involves decorating pine cones with decorative balls and beads, then attaching a looped ribbon to the base—perfect for a parent–child craft time.
You can keep the pine cones’ natural color or paint them with acrylics.
Changing the decorative parts will also change the look, letting you create a variety of lovely ornaments.
Cute little doll made of a pine cone
Glue a larger wood bead, which will be the doll’s head, to the bottom of a pine cone.
Insert wire wrapped with jute twine into the pine cone to create arms and legs, then wrap a scarf knitted from yarn around the neck and put on a hat made from jute.
