Originally sung by Hiroshi Kitadani and released in 1999 as the opening theme for the TV anime and film versions of ONE PIECE, “We Are!” also has this version performed by the co-ed dance and vocal group AAA.

It served as the theme song for a two-hour special program in 2012.
Takahiro Nishijima, a longtime ONE PIECE fan among the members, also took part in the program as a voice actor.
