An image song for the anime NOIR.
The lyrics use the metaphor of a slumbering lion to depict someone single-mindedly searching for the one they like, the one they love.
You can feel a sense of bravado and the resolve to be strong—boldness and dignity.
The musical style expresses the image of a lion that keeps on running.
spring silkwormALI PROJECT
An image song for Rozen Maiden’s Barasuishou.
A relaxed tempo.
Silkworms cannot live without humans.
Thread seems strong but is actually fragile.
Since Barasuishou is not a true Rozen Maiden, she might have seemed strong but actually wasn’t.
God DIVAALI PROJECT
Literally, it means “goddess of god.” She’s the ultimate woman.
Lady Arika is showing off the full extent of the skills she gained as a former opera singer.
Judging from the lyrics, it feels like she’s a goddess of demons.
And reading more deeply, I think it might be a song about a soapland worker.
ALI PROJECT’s classic and popular songs (11–20)
Dead Nation Awakening CatharsisALI PROJECT
The final opera-style section is the biggest highlight.
There’s a lot of vibrato.
This one is a well-known song too.
The way the melody is pitched in the middle is in a minor key and extremely difficult.
The chorus is intense.
But it’s still a really cool piece.
I think the level of completion is very high.
Sleeping CastleALI PROJECT
An impression song of Suiseiseki from Rozen Maiden.
Suiseiseki refused the Alice Game, saying she would rather do that than hurt her twin sister, Souseiseki.
Though she was tsundere, this lonely and shy girl likely opened her heart to Souseiseki.
Reading the lyrics makes me sad.
Erotic & HereticALI PROJECT
This is also lyrics that depict a sex worker or a nightlife butterfly.
Arika-sama sings it with femininity and allure.
Does she perhaps hold a grudge against men? It feels like a song about a woman who dreams of one day falling in love and being “brought out” for the first time—meeting someone like the universe who will brighten her life.
Black Lily Secret Operative TroupeALI PROJECT
The lyrics are very provocative.
Lolita, a slave on all fours.
Blunt lines about how other people’s misfortune is entertaining and how life needs a bit of spice.
When you listen to the lyrics, you can’t help but think, “Exactly!” The musical vibe feels more like Shiina Ringo than Arika-sama.
It’s bright and a really good song.
