Ya Boy Kongming! Road to Summer Sonia
This work, which also received a live-action TV drama adaptation in 2023, became a hot topic.
The unique story of Zhuge Kongming, the master strategist of the Three Kingdoms era, reincarnating in modern-day Shibuya and helping the up-and-coming singer-songwriter Eiko Tsukimi realize her dreams captured the hearts of music fans as well.
This compilation film focuses on the storyline about earning a spot at the anime’s Summer Sonia, and it was released in theaters in 2024.

Quartet! The Opera House of Life
Set in a retirement home for former musicians, this work portrays the everyday lives of its residents and their struggle to keep the home running.
It also drew attention for the fact that Dustin Hoffman, known for his acting career, adapted Ronald Harwood’s play into a film.
The story of people who have retired from music confronting it once again in earnest to save their home even evokes a sense of youthful spirit.
