Apology Song. Make-up Song (51–60)

Youth, Say A-HAMōningu Musume. ’17

Morning Musume ’17 – Seishun Say A-HA
Youth, Say A-HAMōningu Musume. ’17

While current idols like AKB have a pure, innocent image, Morning Musume.

’17 gives off a distinctly sexy vibe.

The way they express apology feels like that of mature women.

Also, the vocal melody in the chorus is catchy and interesting.

Although many people still associate Morning Musume with their old image, this song makes you realize that their current style really works too.

Even if you went and became somebody’s damn girlfriendtensai bando

Genius Band / Even If You End Up Becoming Someone Else’s Girlfriend
Even if you went and became somebody’s damn girlfriendtensai bando

The title is surprising, but it’s a masterpiece that portrays a straightforward feeling.

Even if someone isn’t by your side, is it really possible to keep loving them? The memories may gradually fade, but I feel that the important person is still quietly tucked away in my heart.

I think that’s a beautiful thing.

Little Miss HighwayJUDY AND MARY

4. Little Miss Highway – judy and mary
Little Miss HighwayJUDY AND MARY

This is an apology song for a couple that probably isn’t doing so well.

It’s a perfect fit for YUKI, who has that selfish-girl vibe.

I like YUKI now too, but the aggressive YUKI from the Judy and Mary era was something special.

Seeing another side of a girl who’s usually lively is moving.

100% for Youkyarī pamyu pamyu

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu – Kimi Ni 100 Percent [Legendado em Português]
100% for Youkyarī pamyu pamyu

This is a song that was provided as the theme for Crayon Shin-chan.

I think Shin-chan’s silliness is reflected in the track.

That said, since the song was produced by Yasutaka Nakata, its quality as a track is guaranteed.

Also, compared to when she first started, I feel like Kyary has gotten much better at singing.

Being able to sing this well while dancing means she’s no longer just a model, right?

Song of Apology: Make-Up Song (61–70)

Dear Sir/Madam,Za Masumisairu

This is a song where a band member conveys his feelings to his parents back home through a letter.

It’s a bit embarrassing to listen to, but you can feel the intensity.

It’s easy to picture the parents smiling as they read the letter mentioned in the song.

If you’re someone who left your family home, this will make you want to go back.

LillianKimura Kaera

It’s a lively, energetic song that’s so typically Kaela Kimura.

Fun fact: it was composed by Kameda, the former bassist of Tokyo Jihen, so the bassline is absolutely wild.

It works both as rock and as J-pop—a hidden gem.

And Kaela-chan really does look best with a bob haircut.

Motherkariyushi 58

This is a song sung to a mother, saying “I’m sorry” and “thank you.” Its straightforward message really hits home.

Mothers are truly great.

I’ve made my own mother sad many times, so I want to do what I can to be a good child to her and to tell her many sorries and thank-yous.
