AkariNakaichi Masayuki (Sekaiichi)

Formed in 2003, Sekaiichi is a rock band that made its major debut in 2005 with the single “Step On.” Guitarist Masayuki Nakauchi is also active in f4-high, a band made up solely of members from Fukui Prefecture.
In 2013, to celebrate their 10th anniversary, they produced a self-cover album featuring illustrious guests such as Kazumasa Tanaka of GRAPEVINE and Chage of CHAGE and ASKA.
With vocalist Kei Iwasaki’s soulful voice and the band’s groovy sound as their allure, they’re definitely worth a listen!
The place where I was born and raisedNoji Yukiko

Yukiko Noji is from Echizen City in Fukui Prefecture.
She drew instant attention with her debut song “Watashi ga Umarete Sodatta Tokoro” (“The Place Where I Was Born and Raised”), and continued to captivate many listeners with tracks like “Hokushinano Zesshō” and “Yomeiri-bune.” In particular, her 1988 hit “Shinobi Yado” was loved by a wide range of generations, and Noji’s singing voice still resonates deeply in people’s hearts today.
Her songs, with their straightforward lyrics and distinctive phrasing, gently meet listeners where they are, making them easy to recommend to many.
MyOwnWayNaga Hisa Rena

Rena Nagaku was born in 2000 and hails from Fukui Prefecture.
She garnered attention in 2014 as a member of AKB48’s Team 8, and launched her solo career in 2019.
In particular, her album “My Own Way,” released in February 2020, has received high praise from listeners, with its down-to-earth expression resonating deeply.
The sight of her with a guitar reflects her warm heart and love for music.

Hinata Kako is a singer-songwriter who was born at a temple in Mikuni, Fukui Prefecture.
She competed in YAMAHA’s TEEN’S MUSIC FESTIVAL 2001, won second place nationwide, and made her indie debut.
Later, she enrolled in the piano department at Osaka College of Music, where she devoted herself to practicing classical piano.
Her 2012 single “Izuko no Sora” reached No.
1 for Japanese music on the Oricon National FM Power Play Rankings.
Since her family home is a temple, she also performs at many concerts connected to Buddhist memorial services.
Mr. Moonlight ~Big Band of Love~Takahashi Ai (moto Mōningu Musume.)

Ai Takahashi served as the sixth leader of Morning Musume, the idol group that epitomized the Heisei era.
She joined Morning Musume in 2001 and, thanks to her steady vocal ability, took center position for songs like “Resonant Blue” and “Nanchatte Renai.” In 2011, she was appointed a “Fukui Brand Ambassador,” promoting the appeal of her home prefecture, Fukui.
Beyond her activities with Morning Musume, she has appeared in numerous dramas and stage productions, and in 2021 she launched her own private brand, showcasing her success across multiple fields.
Song of Treasuresnana-iro

Nana-iro made their major debut in 2006 with the single “Takaramonono Uta.” The group was formed when Ai Utsumi from Aichi Prefecture and Michiko Iwahori from Fukui Prefecture met in a club at the University of Fukui, where they both enrolled.
Their 2007 single “Blanket” was featured as an insert song in the Kansai TV drama “Oniyome Nikki: Ii Yu Dana,” and in 2013 they released their second album “ten” to commemorate the 10th anniversary of their formation.

MC Koboshi, who is active nationwide with a base in Fukui Prefecture, is a rapper who also serves as an FM Fukui radio personality.
He’s a proven talent who finished runner-up on ABEMA’s audition show “RAPSTAR Birth!” and has competed in various other competitions as Fukui’s representative.
In 2021, he established the first hip-hop agency in Fukui.
In 2022, he released the album “Alarm AM 06:00,” whose approachable backing tracks make it easy to listen to even for those new to hip-hop.
