Obstacle and Circuit Events (1–10)
A circuit made with pool cues

Let’s play while getting creative! Here are some circuit (obstacle course) ideas you can make with pool noodles.
All you need are pool noodles and a utility knife or scissors.
Cut the long pool noodles in half and use them for the course! Place the halved pool noodles on the floor and include a tightrope-walk section where kids crawl or walk along them.
You can also roll balls along the top of the noodles, or connect them into circles to make ring shapes—great ideas to try!
Tunnel-Crawling Race

When it comes to parent-child events that give kids a sense of accomplishment, the tunnel-crawling race is a classic.
Children move forward by crawling through a tube-like space, making it an activity where you can really feel their growth.
If they’re having trouble moving smoothly, it’s recommended to have teachers or guardians assist them.
You can set out just one short tunnel, or line up multiple tunnels with rest stops in between—both sound fun.
It also gets exciting when you connect it with other activities like an attraction.
Create lasting memories with a sports day event where you can witness your children’s development up close.
Swirly Mixed Juice

For those looking for a sports day event that parents and children can enjoy together, we recommend the “Whirling Mixed Juice” race.
Since it’s a parent–child pair event, even one-year-olds can take part with peace of mind.
For each type of fruit, spin the specified number of times.
During this part, the adult should run while holding the child.
After finishing the spins, hold hands with the children and go pick up the juice.
Finally, toast with the teacher holding a beer and cross the finish line.
It’s a refreshing parent–child event that livens up a hot sports day.
Obstacle and circuit events (11–20)
Can you tell where you are?

Let us introduce a fun, humor-filled event called “Can You Tell Where They Are?” Children line up side by side in small groups, showing only their feet while the rest of their bodies are hidden from view.
Parents then look at the rows of feet and try to pick out which ones belong to their own child—it’s a hilarious challenge.
The children’s little feet lined up are adorable and heartwarming.
Judging based only on feet seems quite difficult, but even if a parent picks the wrong child, that would surely liven up the venue! If you’re looking for a quirky and entertaining activity, definitely give this one a try.
Super Mario

Super Mario Bros.
is beloved by both parents and children.
How about a competition that incorporates its world? Participants wear a Mario or Luigi hat and start by rolling a die.
Based on the picture shown on the die, they choose a course—like breaking a block or crawling through a tunnel.
It would be fun to include twists, such as allowing a player to head straight for the finish without doing anything if they roll “Invincible.” At the end, the child is picked up by their guardian at the finish line, and once they touch the coin, they’re done.
Sushi Picnic
@piyopiyo0519 I don’t dislike that quality. Mom loves youThey say it doesn't look like sushi once you sit down.Sports DayWe couldn’t do it this year.#Nursery school
Original song – Susu – Susu
You won’t be able to take your eyes off the kids’ adorable antics! Here are some ideas for a sushi-themed picnic.
Many people struggle to come up with food-themed events, right? In those moments, we recommend a “Sushi Picnic” that blends humor with cuteness.
Prepare boards with illustrations of about four types of sushi, and at the starting signal, have the kids flip a board.
Once they see which sushi topping is shown, they put on a backpack matching that topping and race toward the goal together with their guardian! Give it a try at your event.
Perfect for water sports

Let me introduce a fun swimming game using swim rings.
Children should wear swim caps and wait with their bodies through the swim rings.
At the start signal, run and dive under a “sea” made of paper streamers! There will be fish waiting beyond the dive, so set down your swim ring and go fishing.
Once you catch one fish, run with it to the finish line! If you make it a parent event, parents can carry their children while the children pretend to swim, and for the fishing part you can make the parents catch smaller fish to increase the difficulty and excitement.
