Magic with bags. Mysterious tricks using paper or plastic bags (1–10)
Juice appears from inside the paper bag

I’ll introduce a magic trick where you cast a spell on a paper bag that produces nothing even when turned upside down, and juice comes out.
It’s a dreamy trick that kids are likely to love.
The secret is very simple: there’s a large hole on the back of the paper bag, and you’re just hiding the hand holding the juice there.
Even when you turn the bag upside down, only the bag moves, so the juice doesn’t spill.
When you finally take out the juice, place it on the bottom of the bag and be sure to hold the bag in the middle.
Also, when you spin the bag, be mindful of the angles so the juice can’t be seen.
A magic trick where juice comes out from stacked paper bags

Juice appears from inside a paper bag!? It’s a magic trick that looks just like real magic.
The key is to use a double-layered paper bag, and with a simple modification to the bottom, you can perform it easily.
It makes clever use of the fact that you can’t see inside the bag.
It’s easy for kids to try too, so why not have fun doing it together? If you can surprise the people around you, it will surely spark even more interest in the world of magic.
Everyone, give this mysterious trick a try!
Bagged egg

It’s one of the classic magic tricks, also known as the Egg Bag.
It’s a mysterious trick where items placed inside a bag vanish or appear, and as the name suggests, you can use an egg or even a spectator’s belongings, allowing for creative variations.
There are also many different ways and sequences for making things disappear and appear.
You can purchase it at magic shops, so if you’re interested, give it a try.

A bottle appears from the envelope

It’s a magic trick where you open a flat envelope and pull out a three-dimensional bottle from inside.
The envelope has a hidden slit, and the trick is to bring the bottle to the mouth of the envelope through that slit.
If you secure the envelope with a binder clip, it’s less likely people will notice the slit.
The bottle is hidden inside your jacket or somewhere similar, so I recommend using a slim bottle to make the setup less detectable.
The chosen card penetrates into the bag.

It’s a magic trick where, after you put the chosen card back into the deck and mix the cards over a bag, only that card ends up inside the bag! After the spectator chooses a card, you return it to the deck and shuffle, but there’s one crucial point: you need to bring the chosen card to the bottom.
Once you’ve done that, the rest is easy.
The bag actually has double-sided tape inside, and when you place the deck on top of the bag, only the bottom card sticks.
So even if you mix the cards, the chosen card doesn’t move.
Then, if you lift the bag so that the cards face you, it looks as though the card has gone into the bag.
Water and a bag

At first glance, it’s just an ordinary paper bag.
But when you pour a glass of water into the bag, not a drop leaks out, and even if you turn it upside down, nothing spills! That alone is puzzling, but then when you tilt the bag toward the glass, the water flows back into the glass! How is that possible… it’s mysterious, isn’t it? This is actually a magic prop sold under the name “Water and Paper Bag.” If you’re curious, go ahead and buy one to try it out.
It’s a trick that will amaze everyone from kids to adults!
Stab a pencil into a paper bag and guess the card they chose.

You have someone pick a playing card and remember it, then return it to the deck and shuffle.
Next, you drop the cards loosely into a paper bag and stab a pencil into the bag—but amazingly, the only card that gets pierced is the chosen one! The secret is a shuffling technique and a bag with one side that’s double-layered.
First, shuffle so the chosen card ends up on top.
Then, when you put the cards into the bag, drop only that top card into the gap of the double-layered side.
Once you know it, it’s a simple gimmick! It’s easier if you slightly offset the chosen card as you put it into the bag.
In conclusion
We introduced various magic tricks using different kinds of bags, such as paper bags, envelopes, and plastic bags.
There were many tricks that made use of the unique features of bags, like their opacity and the ability to seal them.
Some tricks can be done without complex techniques as long as you prepare the gimmick, so if any caught your interest, definitely give them a try.
