The song was selected as the theme for Winter Cup 2020, the 73rd All Japan High School Basketball Championship, the biggest event in high school basketball.

Written and composed by guitarist-vocalist Honoka Kudo, the track’s sound production was handled by SEED SEEKERS, known for work with artists like Yorushika.

Like a “swallow,” the arrangement lets shimmering piano and delicate band textures dart and soar freely.

It’s a powerful yet light pop tune that propels players’ footwork across the court and gives them the strength to spread their wings.

It’s the theme song of the Harlem Globetrotters, an American basketball team that has existed since the late 1920s.

A whistled version of “Sweet Georgia Brown” plays when the team members enter the court.

This song was also used in the film Jazz on a Summer’s Day, which documented the 5th Newport Jazz Festival.
