The Beatles’ famous and popular songs

Introducing songs by the legendary rock band, The Beatles.

When it comes to The Beatles, they’re the very definition of a rock band—an extraordinarily popular group that stands as one of the greatest in music history.

They made their record debut in 1962 and are said to have effectively disbanded in 1970, yet their popularity shows no signs of fading.

In their early years, they enjoyed idol-like fame, but they gradually elevated their musical standing and came to be highly esteemed by fellow musicians as well.

When they first visited Japan in 1966, they performed live at the Budokan.

It’s said that their show was the first rock concert ever held at that venue.

Now, please enjoy a playlist of The Beatles’ songs—timeless classics by what is no exaggeration to call the most famous rock band in the world.

The Beatles’ classic and popular songs (121–130)

Love Is All You NeedThe Beatles

A refreshing song by the legendary band The Beatles, who sparked a revolution in rock with record-breaking sales and went on to have a profound influence on countless artists.

It’s one of their signature tracks, frequently covered by various artists and often heard in commercials.

Sun KingThe Beatles

Sun KingThe Beatles

A Beatles piece whose opening insect chirps evoke a distinctly autumnal feeling.

Appreciating the sounds of insects is said to be a uniquely Japanese custom, and perhaps Yoko Ono’s influence played a part here.

It seems like something that could help you sleep soundly if you listen to it before bed.

I Want to Hold Your HandThe Beatles

I Want to Hold Your HandThe Beatles

The early Beatles songs are simple and pure in both melody and lyrics, which is really nice.

I feel like I can understand why they appealed to so many people.

The title “I Want to Hold Your Hand” gives off a pure and sincere vibe.

It feels like sentiments like that have faded in today’s world, which is a bit unfortunate.

Real LoveThe Beatles

Real LoveThe Beatles

It’s the final single released in 1996, after the Beatles’ breakup and John’s death.

Using a demo tape of a song by John Lennon that Yoko Ono had kept, the other members added their touches to complete the track, resulting in a characteristically John-like, simple and beautiful love song.

Abbey RoadThe Beatles

Golden Slumbers / Carry That Weight / The End
Abbey RoadThe Beatles

The Beatles—legends who need no introduction.

They’re the icons of rock and pop music who produced countless timeless songs and classic albums that are still sung today.

In Japan, they were also pioneers, being the first to use the Budokan for a concert and opening doors for later artists.

You could say every one of their albums is a masterpiece.

My recommendation is Abbey Road.

The crosswalk photo on the cover is so famous that fans still flock to the location to take commemorative photos.

As for the music, the final three tracks—Golden Slumbers, Carry That Weight, and The End—flow together with such beauty that even now, just listening to them can bring me to tears.
