Godiego is a band formed in the mid-1970s.

Despite several breakups and reunions, they are still active today, and this work was released in 1979.

It was used that same year as a supporting song for the International Year of the Child.

The sections where they sing the chorus together with children are particularly memorable, and the song has been covered many times.

This work was the sixth single by Fujifabric.

It is said to be the first piece written by Masahiko Shimura, the guitarist and vocalist who passed away at 29 in 2009, after he moved to Tokyo.

With the words “Akane-iro” and “Yūhi,” it’s a masterpiece that conjures a beautiful sunset in the heart.
