Bell sounds. Sound effects and soothing ambient sounds.

I’ve gathered a variety of bell sounds, from the tones of large temple and shrine bells to bells from churches overseas.

The resonant ringing is both gentle and majestic, creating a richly solemn atmosphere.

Simply listening can be soothing, making it ideal for healing and relaxation.

Healing Bells

This is also a typical bell tone that brings to mind a Buddhist monk.

It’s a very familiar sound, so its strength is that even a single listen can impress the image of a monk or a temple on the audience.

There’s no noise mixed in, and it seems reusable for sound novels or game projects.

Kedarnath Temple Bell / Ghanta Sound

This work is a recording of a church event.

Its distinguishing feature is that you can enjoy the authentic sound of real bells rung in an actual church, and despite the somewhat noisy surroundings, it can still be considered a valuable piece.

The tone of the bells comes through clearly, so there’s no need to worry.

Sound Healing - Temple Bell - Deep Relaxing Meditation Music

This piece features healing music using East Asian-style instruments, accompanied by the sound of a low, heavy bell.

With its calm approach that eliminates higher tones, it’s well-suited for both work and sleep.

The musical sensibility is excellent, making it an outstanding listen purely as a music work as well.

Temple Bell Sound Effect Sound Effect 27

It has the tone of bells you might hear at a Western church.

The performance resembles a school start-of-day bell, and listening to it may evoke a sense of nostalgia.

Since it’s a field recording, you can hear the bustle of people, and the sound is also biased toward the left side.

Temple bell

This work features field recordings of bell tones that might be used at temples and shrines.

From the strike of the bell to the surrounding reverberations, everything is captured perfectly, giving a powerful sense of presence as if you were actually at the site.

However, because these are natural recordings, various ambient noises are also mixed in.

[Sound effect] Bell chime 01 (softer/low pitch)

It features recordings of bell tones at a slightly lower pitch.

Since it contains very little reverb, it seems suitable for situations where you don’t want a long tail.

The playback time is quite short even for a sound effect, but a notable characteristic is that the loop points are hard to detect even when played repeatedly.

Copyright-free, commercially usable sound effect: chime (Butsudan bell), bell, metal, striking

Even though it’s called a bell, this refers to a small, royalty-free sound effect commonly used in everyday settings like household Buddhist altars.

As bell sounds go, it’s the most familiar, so it’s often used to emphasize scenes such as funerals or memorial services, and it’s also frequently employed in comedic scenes.
