Easy way to make Christmas stockings (11–20)
Large-size Christmas stockings

These oversized Christmas stockings can hold even big presents! Since they’re made without a lining, they’re an easy project to try.
To boost the festive feel, we recommend warm fabrics like flannel or fleece.
Because the material is soft, it’s easier to slip presents inside.
Cut your fabric into a sock shape, sew it right sides together, leaving the top opening unsewn.
Next, fold the top edge down a little, tuck in a loop of cord, sew it in place, then turn the stocking right side out—that’s it! If you’re not comfortable with a sewing machine, hand stitching works just fine.
Feel free to adjust the size to match your gift!
How to make simple Christmas stockings

Introducing easy-to-make Christmas stockings you can sew with your favorite fabric! If you’re not comfortable with a sewing machine, hand sewing works too.
First, choose fabrics for the outer and lining, and cut two sock-shaped pieces of each, making the lining pieces slightly longer.
Next, sew the top openings of the outer and lining pieces together, then place them right sides together and sew around the edges, leaving an opening for turning.
Finally, turn it right side out, sew the remaining opening closed, and tuck the lining inside to finish.
Whether you use solid or patterned fabric, you’ll end up with stylish stockings—give it a try!
No-sew Santa stockings

For those who aren’t confident at sewing or are a bit clumsy, we recommend no-sew Santa stockings.
If you tuck Christmas presents into a Santa stocking, kids are sure to be delighted! It’s also a fun way to get into the holiday spirit by making them together as a family.
Cut red and white fabric into the shape of a sock, then glue around the edges, leaving the opening unglued.
Since the white fabric will be folded to the inside, the key is to cut it about 10 centimeters longer than the red fabric.
Next, insert the red sock into the white sock, turn it inside out, and fold the white part over the top to finish! You can add a string or customize it with felt to suit your taste, which can be a lot of fun.
sock bag

These sock bags are great to make with kids.
Just thread yarn through construction paper and you’ll end up with a fun, colorful sock! First, fold a sheet of construction paper in half, use the fold to sketch a sock, and cut it out with scissors.
Next, attach the sock’s opening (cuff) piece, then punch holes around the edges.
Thread yarn or ribbon through the holes, tie it at the opening to make a handle, and you’re done! You can also decorate by cutting additional paper shapes or adding stickers.
Since you can actually put sweets or other small items inside and carry it around, kids are sure to love it.
Felt Christmas stocking

These felt Christmas stockings are perfect as tree ornaments or interior decor! The best part is you can hand-sew them without using a sewing machine.
It’s more efficient to make a template first and cut the felt accordingly.
Sew on the felt pieces, add decorations like embroidery, make a second identical piece, then blanket-stitch the two together to finish.
Have fun customizing by changing felt color combinations or adding ribbons, beads, or sequins.
Tuck in candies or chocolates, and they’ll make a charming, casual Christmas gift.
