For the Showa generation, it’s the original Ultraman; for the Heisei generation, is Mebius or Ginga more popular? In the Reiwa era, maybe Trigger or Blazar.
Ultraman remains an eternal hero across eras, and I think Ultraman cosplay is hugely popular with kids in the Reiwa generation too.
For the face, you can use a mask sold at festivals or large toy stores.
It’s common to hand-make just the costume part, I think.
For girls, prepare the uniforms of the female team members who support Ultraman.
Everyone can even play an impromptu game of Ultraman together.
Wally
Even in the world of cosplay, Wally has gone beyond being a fad and become a staple.
Of course, he’s the character who jumped out of Martin Handford’s picture book “Where’s Wally?”—but we don’t even need that introduction anymore.
Above all, his red-and-white striped outfit is iconic.
Since shirts with that pattern are hard to find, you might try making one yourself with colored tape.
You’ll also want a red-and-white striped knit cap.
Surprisingly, having a walking stick really makes you look more like Wally, so if you can swing it, definitely add one!

You can also use kid-friendly face paints that wipe off easily to draw patterns on the face like a clown.
If you prepare a store-bought afro wig, you can create even more of a clown vibe.

Minnie Mouse
When you think of a red skirt with white polka dots, Minnie Mouse comes to mind, doesn’t it? Minnie Mouse is a Disney character loved by children, so a cosplay of her would surely delight them.
Family and friends should definitely try Mickey Mouse cosplay as well.
Seeing kids dressed as Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse is something adults will surely enjoy too.
