Ribbon tree

Every December, news about Christmas trees arrives from America, doesn’t it? There’s the lavish tree at Rockefeller Center, the huge tree in Washington Square Park, and so on—the whole scene is so lively, and Christmas is treated much like New Year’s is for Japanese people.
While we don’t put up such gigantic trees, how about adding a tiny mini-tree to your Christmas tree ornaments? Punch holes in a ribbon, thread a pipe cleaner through to shape a small tree, and top it with a star bead—it’s amazing how convincing it looks.
The classic combo is a green ribbon with a brown pipe cleaner, but feel free to use whatever colors you like.
It’s easy to make, so it’s also great as a little activity for a Christmas party.
snowman

Snowmen are full of cuteness, but in Germany and France they’re called “snow men,” and in the Netherlands and Italy they’re called “snow dolls.” Let’s make some cute snowman ornaments out of felt! Since you just cut and glue, it’s great for small children too.
The classic look is black felt for the eyes and orange felt for the nose.
Using real buttons for the chest decoration adds a nice touch.
Make tiny snowmen and giant snowmen—mix and match them to liven up your tree!
gift box

These are gift box ornaments made using toilet paper rolls that you can find in any household.
You’ll need toilet paper rolls, colorful Christmas-themed origami paper, and a gold ribbon.
The tools are scissors and tape.
Cut the roll into sections and shape them into squares, then overlap two pieces to form a box shape.
Secure them with tape and wrap them like a present using the origami paper.
Tie a ribbon to finish the cute gift box.
Thread a string through it and hang it on your tree!

cotton ball

Even very beautiful and intricate cotton balls are surprisingly easy to make.
Use ordinary embroidery thread, blow up a balloon, and wrap the thread around its surface.
There are several ways to soak the thread with adhesive, but I recommend gradually unwinding the thread and dipping it into a mixture of glue thinned with water.
When you pop the balloon at the end, you’re left with the cotton ball on the outside—finished! Using yarn also makes an adorable shape.
Popping the balloon is so fun that kids are sure to get absorbed in it.
Ornaments that can be stuck on windows

These are ornaments you can stick on windows or mirrors to boost the Christmas vibe, and they look very stylish.
Prepare a clear file folder, sequins, paper, felt-tip pens, and glue, then let’s make them.
Draw a circle on paper, place it inside the clear file, and drip glue over the top.
Sprinkle glitter or sequins over it and let it dry thoroughly.
Peel it off the clear file, and it’s done.
Stick it on a window to enjoy a festive atmosphere.
It might also be cute to draw boots, Santa Claus, and other illustrations on the paper.
Christmas stocking (felt)

These felt Christmas stockings are perfect as tree ornaments or interior decor! The best part is you can hand-sew them without using a sewing machine.
It’s more efficient to make a template first and cut the felt accordingly.
Sew on the felt pieces, add decorations like embroidery, make a second identical piece, then blanket-stitch the two together to finish.
Have fun customizing by changing felt color combinations or adding ribbons, beads, or sequins.
Tuck in candies or chocolates, and they’ll make a charming, casual Christmas gift.
Apple

The ornament uses apples as its motif, featuring vibrant red and yellow colors and a distinctive, airy look created by the expanding paper—very eye-catching.
First, draw a shape that looks like a halved apple, then use it as a guide to cut folded red or yellow construction paper.
When you unfold the cut pieces, they become apple shapes; by gluing these pieces together, you build up a three-dimensional apple.
Pay attention to how you attach the stem, how you fan out the layers, and how you refine the overall shape so the apple looks as beautiful as possible.
