Crossfaith’s best and most popular songs (1–10)
Rx OverdriveCROSSFAITH

It’s included on New Age Warriors.
This track blows me away with its overwhelming coolness.
It’s metal-ish, loud-ish, hardcore-ish—yet it doesn’t fit into any of those boxes.
It’s quintessentially “Crossfaith.” In a word: insane.
OmenCROSSFAITH

Included on their second album, The Dream, The Space, released in 2011.
Their boldly synth-forward sound sent shockwaves overseas, and the fact that the YouTube comment section is filled almost entirely with English comments speaks volumes about how widely they’ve been embraced around the world.
Countdown To HellCROSSFAITH

Included on the 3rd album, APOCALYPSE.
The synth sound that characterizes Crossfaith is subdued in this track, resulting in a sound that maximizes destructive power with just guitar, bass, and drums.
After a tens-of-seconds-long, tantalizing intro, the band kicks in with a double-bass drum attack exceeding 180 BPM that’s overwhelmingly aggressive.
JägerbombCROSSFAITH

A Jägerbomb is a type of alcoholic drink—Jägermeister mixed with Red Bull.
In Japan, they tend to be seen as somewhat stoic (?), but this is their proudly full-throttle party anthem.
Despite its explosively powerful sound, it’s a track everyone can jump around to together and get hyped.
The ultra-fast 32nd-note drum fill in the outro is nothing short of incredible.
LeviathanCROSSFAITH

CROSSFAITH is a metalcore band that enjoys enormous popularity not only in Japan but overseas as well.
Their signature style fuses hard-hitting tracks with plenty of electronic elements, and bold shouts give their songs an even more aggressive edge.
At the same time, some tracks weave in mystical, beautiful passages between the intensity, and many listeners are inevitably moved by that contrast between ferocity and beauty.
While they might not strictly fit the “screamo” label in terms of emotional clean parts, we’ve chosen to feature them here in a broader sense—because of the way their music shines with beauty within the heaviness.
XenoCROSSFAITH

This track is striking for its overwhelming sound pressure and flawless production.
I’ve heard they often kick off their live shows with this song.
It’s guaranteed to get your energy up! The heavy shouts and the clean tones in the chorus balance perfectly, making every sound feel like part of a single wall of sound.
MonolithCROSSFAITH

Included on the album Zion EP.
Its hard-hitting, metalcore-style sound design is so sharp that anyone unfamiliar with them would easily mistake it for an overseas band at first listen.
With the rise of bands like coldrain bringing the “loud rock” genre gradually into the public eye, you could say this band pushed it decisively in a more hardcore direction.
