DAYSanyuusuresu

Any Useless is a five-piece rock band from Osaka.
Their song “DAYS,” which has been gaining attention mainly on social media like Instagram, is a one-sided-love track highlighted by a gentle, appealing vocal.
The biggest draw is the lyrics: the choice of words feels so real and relatable, like something straight out of everyday life.
While poetic lyrics with a fantastical worldview can be great, lyrics written in down-to-earth language like in this song can really hit you in the heart.
The performance is also refreshing despite its mid-tempo pace, so that’s another aspect worth paying attention to when you listen.
DestinyElefanto Kashimashi

A gem of a song by Elephant Kashimashi that vividly portrays the subtleties of life.
Hiroji Miyamoto’s distinctive vocals resonate deeply with listeners.
The protagonist’s determination to overcome hardship and forge a new path is powerfully expressed.
Released as a single in June 2014, it was also used as the theme song for a TBS drama.
Among Elephant Kashimashi’s long musical career, this is a particularly memorable work.
Highly recommended for anyone standing at a crossroads in life and seeking the courage to move forward.
DeedeElefanto Kashimashi

Released in March 1988, this is Elephant Kashimashi’s debut single.
It is also included on their first album, THE ELEPHANT KASHIMASHI, released on the same day.
Although Elephant Kashimashi is often associated with debuting in the late 1990s, the band was actually formed when the members were in junior high school, and to this day they continue their activities as a four-piece including the original members.
This soul-stirring song is a work that could only come from Hiroji Miyamoto, whose career as a musician spans many years.
Decorationozu

This is the rock band Oz from Okinawa.
They originally performed as a four-piece, but from 2013 they continued as a trio and disbanded in 2015.
They were known for their clear, high-range, pop-leaning vocals—especially the strong impression left by NARUMI.
Although they’re from Okinawa, they developed an original sound that was completely different from traditional Okinawan music.
They provided the theme song for Okinawa Prefecture’s public relations program “Umanchu Hiroba” and also had tie-ins with TV Saitama programs.
I really hope they reunite someday.
Let’s duel!Ōishi Masayoshi

“Let’s Duel!” is a single released in April 2024 by Masayoshi Oishi, an anisong singer who has been drawing a lot of attention.
It’s a powerful track packed with his love for the Yu-Gi-Oh! series.
The sound, the lyrics, and the vocals all feel like a call to players immersed in card battles.
You can picture duelists giving everything they’ve got at the decisive moment.
Alongside its fiercely dynamic tempo, the song conjures a story of facing life head-on and joining hands with your friends.
Through dueling, you find your place and your sense of worth… If you pick up on the message woven into the song, you’ll surely feel like grabbing a deck yourself!
A forty-something who wants to be a DQN and wants to die.Kyūso Nekokami

In Japan’s rock scene, Kyuso Nekokami is hugely popular among young people.
Their strengths lie in their sense of humor in songwriting and the straightforward emotions that come through from deep within.
This song takes the internet slang “DQN,” which refers to delinquents and toughs, as its theme.
At first glance, it seems to mock DQNs, but what’s cute is how it subtly reveals a hint of envy toward them (lol)! It’s a song that sings about delinquents from a slightly different angle.
Fragments of an EncounterKetsumeishi

This is a gem of a medium-tempo ballad that gently depicts growth through encounters and farewells.
Released in January 2008, it marked Ketsumeishi’s first time providing a theme song for a film, beautifully capturing the world of the movie “Flowers Blooming in the Shade” (Kage Hinata ni Saku).
Also included on the album “Ketsuno Police 6,” the song garnered wide support, reaching No.
2 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart.
Seamlessly blending mellow rap with a catchy melody, the track is distinguished by its richly emotive piano lines.
It’s a perfect choice for karaoke with friends or for moments when you want to reflect on memories with someone special.
