DaysKobukuro

This is a track released as a digital-only single by Kobukuro, the folk duo from Sakai, Osaka.
Centered around acoustic guitar, it beautifully balances a gentle atmosphere with the grandeur created by strings and piano.
The harmonies of Shunsuke Kuroda and Kentaro Kobuchi—one of the unit’s defining features—are striking here as well; the powerful layering of their voices feels as if it carries their feelings far into the distance.
It’s a grand yet tender song that conveys a deep appreciation for everyday life and a strong sense of hope for the future.
DEAD ENDGodaigo
Godiego, formed in 1975 around vocalist Yukihide Takakawa and known as pioneers of Japanese progressive rock.
Many people have likely heard Monkey Magic and Gandhara from the 1978 TV drama Journey to the West, as well as Galaxy Express 999.
With foreign members and English lyrics, they pursued broad activities with an eye toward a global audience, not just Japan.
Their second album, DEAD END, released in 1977, is one of their more rock-oriented works.
Even today, it brims with energy!
Daydream BelieverZa Taimāzu

The song by The Timers, led by Kiyoshiro Imawano, was released in October 1989.
The original is a track by The Monkees, but Kiyoshiro wrote new Japanese lyrics and added his own interpretation.
In contrast to its bright melody, the lyrics reflect Imawano’s feelings for his late mother.
It was a major hit, reaching No.
2 on the Oricon charts.
It was also chosen as the first song played when Space Shower TV launched, showing how beloved it was by many.
Filled with deep affection and a touch of melancholy, it’s a piece you may find yourself wanting to listen to when thinking of someone dear.
DestinyShenelu

This is the third single by Che’Nelle, an R&B singer with a very international background: her father is Malaysian, her mother is of mixed Indian and Dutch heritage, she grew up in Australia, and she is currently based in Los Angeles.
It was released in May 2017 and was used as the theme song for the TBS Friday drama “Reverse.” Over a backing track highlighted by striking string arrangements, Che’Nelle’s highly dynamic vocals truly shine.
When singing this at karaoke, you’ll need to use vocal technique that fully resonates through your body as an instrument, maintain high notes without constricting the throat, and keep tight control over the song’s rhythm.
Because it’s a demanding song to perform, being able to pull it off will surely earn you admiration from those around you.
Although the theme here is “for those good at high notes,” please note that this song also requires you to deliver the low parts solidly.
deleteShido

The opening theme of the anime The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods, “delete” by SID.
Some people may be inspired by visual kei and start a band.
How about performing this song—with its dark atmosphere and powerful band sound—at your school festival? If it’s too difficult to play, you can arrange it to make it a bit easier.
Once you get used to performing it, put some thought into your outfits and makeup, too.
If you can create a visual-kei-like darkness in your presentation, you’re sure to look cool on stage at the festival!
DNAJeisonzu

The mixture rock band, Jasons.
They’re known as the band that Hirooki—now active as the guitarist for Dragon Ash—used to belong to.
“Mixture rock” literally refers to music that fuses rock with other genres.
In Jasons’ case, they’ve produced many tracks that blend rock with metal.
The one I especially want you to hear is DNA.
It’s a piece that channels a raw, metal-like sound, anchored by a lower-register upright bass.
The punchy, crackling attack unique to the upright bass sounds incredibly cool.
There’s also an upright bass solo set up as a build right before the chorus, so keep an ear out for that.

Delivery Vintage Rock ’n’ Rolljiruba

A four-piece rock band formed in Tokyo in 2005.
Armed with an aggressively electrifying stage performance and a band sound that forges a powerful sense of unity with the audience, they are a fixture on the live scene.
In 2013, the film Sado Tempest, in which the band starred, won the Grand Prize in the Feature Narrative category at the Chicago International Movies and Music Festival and Best Music at the Brooklyn Film Festival, among other accolades, showcasing their wide-ranging achievements.
