Snow globe made from empty lactic acid bacteria drink containers

Let’s make a snow globe using an empty lactic acid bacteria drink container! Snow globe making is exciting for kids, too! First, attach the string part of a small ornament of your choice to the container’s lid.

Next, pour colored water, glitter, and baby oil into the drink container and close the lid—that’s it! When you shake the container, the glitter sparkles and instantly creates a Christmas atmosphere! By changing the color of the water and adding decorations, it could make a delightful gift as well.

Colorful Tree Made with Salt

The way the paint colors blend in salt painting is so mysterious and fascinating, isn’t it? For this project, draw a tree shape with wood glue and sprinkle salt over it.

Shake off the excess salt, then drip water-diluted paint from above—the colors will spread like neon and create a beautiful finish.

The key to salt painting is to sprinkle the salt before the glue dries.

You can try it not only on paper but also on fabric, so make your own original tree and brighten up Christmas!

Origami: Santa Claus

Winter Origami: Easy Santa Claus Folding Method [With Audio Commentary] – Christmas Origami
Origami: Santa Claus

Origami is something kids can easily enjoy, so it’s perfect as a childcare activity, too! Here’s a fun Santa Claus you can make using origami.

It stands on its own, so making lots and decorating a room would be delightful! The steps are simple, so children might learn them and make one by themselves.

Finish by drawing a face you like to make it extra cute.

If you fold with different colors, patterns, and sizes of origami paper, you can create a lively family of Santas.

Kids love wrapping yarn—vertically, horizontally, and round and round.

For this craft, wrap two colors of yarn around a cut piece of cardboard and secure it with tape.

Cut colored construction paper into a tree shape and add color with a cotton swab.

Place the yarn-wrapped cardboard at the bottom of a clear bag, add the cut-out tree, and it’s done.

Using thick paper instead of cardboard would also make a lovely tree.

Wrapping yarn is a great activity even for three-year-olds.

By the time children are three years old, they can do so much more.

This project uses 3D puffs to make a Christmas tree.

Use the puffs to dab about three colors of paint onto construction paper.

Applying color with the puffs creates a soft, gentle look.

Cut the finished piece into a Christmas tree shape, paste it onto construction paper, and use cotton swabs to add falling snow around the tree for an extra festive feel.

Finish by decorating with pipe-cleaner candies and presents.

Enjoy experimenting with materials, color combinations, and how the colors blend together as you create.

Paper Cup Santa

Preschool Craft: Christmas project! A cute Santa made with paper cups
Paper Cup Santa

Let’s make a cute Santa that’s easy to create with a paper cup and origami! First, cut a sheet of origami paper into four equal pieces and glue them onto the paper cup.

Next, glue a piece of origami the same size as a round piece of construction paper, then add a triangle-cut piece of origami and the beard parts.

After adding the eyes and nose pieces, attach them to the paper cup you prepared earlier, and finish by using round stickers to represent buttons! It’s also fun to try variations—like changing the color of the construction paper—to make a colorful Santa.

This is a Christmas wreath made with paper chains, a classic decoration for events.

Prepare origami paper in your favorite colors and designs, make the chains, and connect them to form the wreath base—perfect for a fun craft activity with three-year-olds.

Thread a ribbon through the finished base to give it a wreath-like look, making it easy to create in nursery schools or kindergartens.

It’s a recommended Christmas craft that will add a cute touch to the holiday season.
