HAPPYDISH//

DISH// – HAPPY [Official Video]
HAPPYDISH//

Formed as a “dance rock band” that performs choreography while playing instruments, DISH// is a four-member group whose members are also active as actors and TV personalities.

The title track of their first EP, HAPPY, drew attention for being written by the members themselves.

Its lyrics tell us that, rather than overthinking the meaning of life, it’s more meaningful to focus on yourself and the precious things right in front of you—blowing away vague anxieties and worries.

With a pop arrangement and a driving ensemble that lifts your spirits, it’s a positive rock tune.

Always HIGH!DISH//

DISH// – Always High! [Official Video]
Always HIGH!DISH//

A DISH// track perfectly suited to color the “now” of high school students, evoking the sparkle of youth and the bonds of friendship.

With its positive message and catchy sound, it inspires listeners and gives them the courage to move forward.

Released digitally in December 2023, this song was written as the required track for the dance video contest “LOVE-Dan – High School Dance Video Fest 2024 –” on Nippon TV’s DayDay.

It’s a cheer song dedicated to every high school student living life to the fullest, and the ultimate dance number that stands alongside their passionate feelings.

It’s the perfect song for stages that showcase dance, such as culture festivals and school festivals!

We RookiesDISH//

DISH// – We Rookies [Official Video Short ver.]
We RookiesDISH//

DISH// is a Japanese boy band.

They make music with a unique approach that combines playing instruments and dancing.

Our song “We Are the Rookies” was used as the theme song for the TV drama Tsuribaka Nisshi (Fishing Fool’s Diary).

Since the drama centers on an office worker who loves fishing, the lyrics are tailored to fit that theme.

DAWNDISH//

DISH// – DAWN [Official Live Video] | SAMURAI BLUE New Scenery 2022 Official Theme Song
DAWNDISH//

The four-member dance-rock band DISH// made their name known to a wide range of listeners with the massive hit of their 10th single, “Neko.” “DAWN,” included on their third album Junkfood Junction, also drew attention when it was re-recorded as part of the 2022 10th-anniversary project “Saisei.” Its forward-driving beat and wistful melody offer courage and strength for walking a life that doesn’t end even after high school club activities come to a close.

It’s a rock tune that gives a push toward a new future—one that we especially want those who poured their youth into club activities to hear.

DAWN (in 2022)DISH//

DISH// – DAWN [Official Live Video] | SAMURAI BLUE New Scenery 2022 Official Theme Song
DAWN (in 2022)DISH//

Like its title meaning “daybreak,” DAWN is a grand number that evokes the dawn of something new.

It’s a song by DISH//, the band known for hits like Neko and Jinchōge.

The retaken 2022 version was chosen as the theme song for a project supporting Japan’s national soccer team, SAMURAI BLUE.

Its message—powerfully pushing us forward through everyday moments and toward our dreams—moves listeners to tears.

It also carries a comforting tone that seems to stay with you in tough times, so it’s sure to resonate with anyone looking to make a fresh start with a new life or a new school term.

JK//DISH//

DISH// – JK// [Official Video (Choreography Lesson ver.)]
JK//DISH//

DISH// is a group currently active with five men.

Their genre is a “dance rock band,” which may sound a bit unfamiliar, but when you listen to their songs, you’ll find yourself thinking, “Ah, I see.” The song I’m introducing, ‘JK//,’ is said to express their honest feelings toward JK, but it’s a track that could give off a risky vibe if handled the wrong way.

ReplayDISH//

DISH// – Replay [Official Video]
ReplayDISH//

Some people may not be used to singing itself because they don’t usually go to karaoke.

In that case, I’d like to recommend “Replay” by DISH//.

It’s a song written specifically as the required piece for the junior high division of the NHK National School Music Competition.

Because of that, it’s designed so you can sing it well using just the basic vocal techniques you learned at school.

It also features a narrow pitch range and a slow tempo.

If you’re not confident in your singing, give it a try.
