The melody playing in the Disney+ commercial featuring Hiroki Hasegawa is an original piece created for the ad.

With its horn-driven, delightfully Disney-like feel, it’s the kind of tune that makes you stop and listen along with the visuals! Although it plays in the background while various titles available on Disney+ are introduced, the track holds its own with an impact that matches the distinctive works on screen.

It wouldn’t feel out of place at a Disney resort or in a Disney comedy, either! Even as a commercial song, it’s a melody that makes you imagine which kind of Disney story it would fit best.

“It’s a Small World” is an attraction found in many Disney parks around the world.

This popular ride takes you on a dreamlike journey where children from various countries dance, and it’s suitable even for young kids.

At Tokyo Disneyland, it underwent a major renovation in 2018, adding characters such as those from Aladdin and Frozen to the attraction.

Naturally, the commercial that aired during the renovation featured the theme song, “It’s a Small World.” This attraction lets you enjoy a world tour accompanied by that music just by visiting Disney, and it can make even adults feel happy.

This is a piece of music that was used in Disney’s Fantillusion!, a past parade at Tokyo Disneyland.

The song is truly popular and is still praised for its brilliance among Disney fans, so much so that calls for its revival frequently arise.

Walt Disney, the creator of Mickey Mouse and Disneyland, once said, “Disneyland will never be completed.” He continued, “As long as there is imagination left in the world, it will continue to grow.” Walt’s belief seems to embody the very nature of Tokyo Disney Resort, which keeps evolving with the times.

This commercial released in 2019 fully captures the enduring, dreamlike charm of Tokyo Disney Resort.

The music used in the CM is the familiar ‘Beauty and the Beast.’ The arrangement develops from a nostalgic music box introduction into a sound featuring grand strings, evoking the park’s forward-looking spirit—always gazing beyond toward a dream that is never finished.

The year 2020 proved to be a difficult time for people around the world.

Tokyo Disney Resort, which has aimed to create a dreamlike world under the theme of a “park that will never be completed,” was no exception.

Perhaps in response to the wishes of Disney fans who wanted to dream precisely because of such times, and thanks to the efforts of everyone involved in the project, a new area opened at Tokyo Disneyland on September 28, 2020—a recent memory for many.

The specially released video was truly moving, and the original music, not derived from existing Disney songs, was also exceptionally beautiful.

One cannot help but hope for the day when we can once again visit the dreamland freely and with peace of mind.

Jingle BellsDizunī

Even if you’re hardly interested in Christmas as an event, with the changing mood of the city, it’s the kind of season that somehow lifts your spirits, isn’t it? And the power of combining that Christmas magic with Disney is something truly irresistible for those who love it.

The line spoken by the girl in this commercial is probably the very wish that most people who visit the Disney Resort during the Christmas season have in their hearts.

The arrangement of “Jingle Bells,” centered on a rhythmic piano, also helps create a sparkling atmosphere.
