BGM at DisneySea: A list of the music and theme songs played in the park

Started working as a music writer as a side job while employed at a record shop, and for over 18 years I’ve contributed to music magazines, disc guide books, mooks, and web media. As a writer my main field is Western music, but as a listener for over 35 years, I always try to keep my curiosity alive with the motto “I like what I like.” I have experience playing in bands, where I was a bassist who handled songwriting and composition. When you think of Disney Parks, there are many ways to enjoy them—fun attractions, dazzling shows, and delicious restaurants—but the unsung star has to be the background music (BGM) playing in each area.

A rural townscape harmonized by traditional music

Cape Cod, themed around a tranquil New England fishing village. In contrast to the city-inspired New York area, you can relax and enjoy leisure activities while taking in the peaceful scenery.

However, many of the pieces of music played there have a somewhat Irish vibe, and it fits perfectly!
