The song begins with a muttered vocal over a bouncing “ta-ta-ta” rhythm, then shifts completely in the chorus to a shouted singing style, and after the chorus it returns quietly to the repeating ta-ta-ta rhythm—a sharply contrasting, dynamic progression.

It’s a track that evokes the night in Tokyo, a feeling that could be described in terms of the color “black.”
