Starring Nanako Matsushima, the drama Kaseifu no Mita aired in 2011.

It became a hot topic as it unfolds around a mysterious housekeeper played by Nanako Matsushima and a single family.

When the guitar of this song comes in during the ending, it really amps up that “I can’t wait for next week!” feeling.

This song became a huge hit with the “Koi Dance,” the ending theme of the drama ‘We Married as a Job!’ Even after the show ended, you can’t help humming the tune or breaking into the Koi Dance, can you? The light, upbeat music and Gen Hoshino’s gentle voice are a perfect match that makes you want to listen again and again.

Why not give it a listen when you’re in love with someone?

Run, Honest OneSaijō Hideki

Hashire Shoujikimono (Run, Honest One), sung by Hideki Saijo, was used as the ending theme for the anime Chibi Maruko-chan, a song that makes everyone happy when they hear it.

The lyrics are wild and hard to make sense of, but they fit perfectly with Chibi Maruko-chan’s worldview.

The lyrics were written by Momoko Sakura, the creator of the manga.

Replace 'i' with 'you'furenzu

We adapted a hugely popular Morning magazine manga into a drama.

It mainly tells the story of two gay men who live together and share meals.

The food in the show looked delicious, didn’t it? The upbeat song by Friends that says, “Let’s stay together forever,” brightened up the ending once again.

It’s the kind of track that makes you want to listen to it again after watching the drama’s ending.

Song of SpringFujihara Sakura

Sakura Fujiwara – “Spring Song” (short ver.)
Song of SpringFujihara Sakura

Both parts of March Comes in Like a Lion, which depicts a young man growing through shogi, were moving stories that left me in tears at the end.

Sakura Fujiwara’s “Haru no Uta” is a cover of Spitz’s song, but I felt she truly made it her own by bringing out a gentle, feminine softness.

The final scenes were a string of tense moments, so when this song played at the end, I felt a bit relieved.

MISIA’s signature song “Everything” became widely known as the theme song for the 2000 TV drama “Yamato Nadeshiko.” The drama, which portrays a romance between a woman whose childhood poverty left her trusting money over love and a man who runs a neighborhood fish shop, achieved high ratings.

The exquisite love song that plays throughout heightened the drama’s emotional intensity and has since become a timeless classic still sung today.

Whether you listen when the story has reached a breather and you feel relieved, or when you’re on edge wondering what will happen next, it fits every scene perfectly—surely that makes it a classic.

Code Blue: Doctor Heli Emergency Lifesaving later became a feature film, which was also a big hit.

Tomohisa Yamashita, Yui Aragaki, and the entire cast delivered pitch-perfect performances in their roles.
