Instrument performance
@setomarui This is a video from when we did a surprise performance at the farewell party! With a bouquet full of love 💐#SuperflyA Bouquet With Love#flute#pianoFlute#IWantToConnectWithMusicLovers#jpopSurprise#mrsgreenapple
Original song – Seto Yuika – seto yuika
If there are people who can play instruments, how about expressing your gratitude through a performance? Choose a song the retiree likes or one that conveys “thank you,” and give it a try.
A solo is fine, or you could add piano or guitar accompaniment, do a duet or a quartet—decide the number of performers and the combination based on how many people can play.
A well-practiced musical gift is sure to move everyone!
Gift of a snack bag

When there are lots of small treats, kids—and of course adults—are delighted.
This idea is to combine various sizes of snacks you can get at the supermarket—chips, cookies, gummies, chocolates—into a candy bag.
Use a box-shaped snack as the base to set the length, then tape together different kinds of treats with clear tape to form a box shape.
After that, make a string by wrapping candies with clear film and wire, connect them, and tape it on to finish.
You can also put more treats inside the box, so there are plenty of ways to have fun depending on your ideas!
Host a party with a private chef

If you’re hosting a farewell party at home, you’ll want to put some thought into the food.
But achieving a professional level of flavor takes time and practice—something that’s hard for busy people today.
So why not hire a private chef to come to you? A professional chef will come to your home and prepare authentic dishes on the spot.
You won’t have to plan the menu for the day or do any cooking, so as the host, you can relax and enjoy chatting with everyone while taking part in the party.
Giant cracker

How about using this when you just want to surprise everyone? Try it at the perfect moment—like when the guest of honor arrives at the farewell party, or when the event is wrapping up.
It’s considerably larger than a regular party popper, so it’s best to use it in a spacious venue or outdoors, choosing the location carefully.
Since cleaning up the confetti from poppers can be a hassle, if you want an easy cleanup, try using a type that doesn’t scatter its contents.
Take them to Disney while blindfolded

Highly recommended especially for Disney lovers! Without telling them where you’re going or what you’ll be doing, first take the person who’s retiring out.
It’s a good idea to have them prepare the bare minimum of items they might need.
Have them wear a blindfold when you head out and travel to the Disney Resort.
Since they’ll be blindfolded, it’s better to go by car than to use public transportation.
Once you arrive at the Disney entrance, take off the blindfold and reveal the surprise! After that, have a blast and make some wonderful memories together.

A guest appears from inside the box

If you really want to amp up the party mood, how about a surprise where a guest pops out of a box? First, prepare a large box with a lid that goes on top.
You can decorate a nice-looking cardboard box with cute ornaments and even put a ribbon on top.
Time the moment carefully so that just when someone starts fiddling with the decorative ribbon, wondering “What’s inside?”, the guest makes their entrance from inside.
The “guest” could be someone you’re grateful to, of course, or even your boss in disguise carrying a gift—either would surely liven things up!
fireworks cake

We celebrate birthdays by putting candles on a cake, right? But sticking candles in a farewell party cake doesn’t feel quite right… and just serving a plain cake can feel a little underwhelming.
In times like that, I recommend a fireworks cake! Instead of using handheld summer sparklers, use fireworks made specifically for cakes—they’re sold for that purpose.
Fireworks glowing in the dark are photogenic, so I think everyone will love it.
If you’re using multiple fireworks, light them quickly.
And please be very careful to avoid burns.
