MAYBETomioka Ai

Sung by singer-songwriter Ai Tomioka, this is a love ballad filled with hope for the future.
It expresses a heartfelt wish to stay with the person by your side now, even if the future is uncertain.
Released in November 2024, the song was reportedly created in response to fans asking for “a warm song.” Perhaps because of that background, the entire track feels wrapped in kindness.
Ai Tomioka’s clear, translucent voice gently stays close to hearts swaying between anxiety and expectation.
Snow BlossomNakajima Mika

It was released in 2003 as Mika Nakashima’s 10th single.
The song was used in Meiji Seika’s commercials for “boda” and “galbo,” has been covered by many artists, and can be heard in various versions.
She performed it twice on NHK’s Kōhaku Uta Gassen—in 2003 (the 54th edition) and 2005 (the 56th)—and it is one of Mika Nakashima’s signature songs.

monologueOmoinotake

Haven’t many of us experienced drifting apart because we couldn’t share our true feelings with someone important? Released in April 2025, this work by Omoinotake—whose roots lie in Black music—is an emotional ballad that sings of that very frustration and sense of loss.
It captures a heart-wrenching realization: words only gain meaning when there’s someone to receive them.
You may find yourself overlaying your own experiences onto the protagonist’s regret—if only I had noticed the hidden truth back then.
This song served as the ending theme for the second cour of season 2 of the TV anime The Apothecary Diaries.
While it gently accompanies the pain of heartbreak, it also leaves a faint glimmer of hope at the end.
sepiaNanba Shiho

This is a ballad by Shiho Nanba, whose charm lies in a voice that blends clarity with a sense of weightlessness.
Its emotionally rich melody, perfect for chilly seasons, gently seeps into the heart.
The song portrays a delicate love swaying between ideal and reality.
It evokes a nostalgic, slightly bittersweet feeling, like looking at a faded photograph.
Because Nanba herself wrote the lyrics for the first time, the sincerity of her feelings may come through all the more directly.
The track is included on the mini-album “Dramatic e.p.,” released in December 2016.
Why not savor it on a long autumn night, lost in your thoughts alone?
crescent moonayaka

It’s a love ballad about a long-distance relationship.
I don’t know when we’ll be able to meet again, but I look up at the slender crescent moon in the night sky, which seems as if it might fade away, and think of the one I love.
Perhaps Ayaka herself, having moved to Tokyo, was also recalling someone dear to her who was far away.
Listening with those thoughts in mind makes it sink deep into the heart.
PasswordAina ji Endo

This is a track released by Aina The End in October 2023.
The song is a heartrending yet grand ballad chosen as the ending theme for the TV anime The Apothecary Diaries.
Written and composed by Huwie Ishizaki, it voices a pure prayer yearning for warmth.
The lyrics, which mirror the subtle emotions of the anime’s protagonist, resonate deeply through Aina The End’s husky, emotive vocals.
Also included on the album RUBY POP, this piece is sure to gently stay by your side on nights when your heart is in turmoil.
Don’t disappear.Aina ji Endo

A ballad that begins with quiet piano notes and unfolds into a grand sound as emotions overflow.
This work marks the origin of Aina The End’s solo career.
She wrote both the lyrics and music, pouring in the earnest feelings she held at eighteen—the desperate wish not to lose someone precious.
The sense of loss—like a world drained of color without you—comes through painfully through her one-of-a-kind husky voice.
On nights when inescapable loneliness strikes, this singing will be there to help you.
