Moonlight LegendDALI

Topping various anime song rankings is Moonlight Densetsu.
It’s the opening theme of the anime Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon.
The mysterious-sounding melody has a charm that sticks with you after just one listen.
The original version was sung by the idol group DALI, but many artists have covered it since.
It’s a good idea to choose a reference version that suits your own vocal quality.
Shunkan SentimentalSCANDAL

Known as an ending theme for Fullmetal Alchemist, this song captivates with its high-energy beat-rock sound and sentimental atmosphere.
Released in February 2010 as SCANDAL’s fifth single, it also performed well on the Oricon charts.
The band members reportedly read the entire original manga and watched all of the anime.
It’s perfect not only as entertainment for year-end or New Year’s parties, but also for anyone who wants to enjoy a girls’ band sound.
Learn the choreography and dance together—there’s no doubt the whole venue will come alive as one!
Hare Hare YukaiSuzumiya Haruhi (Hirano Aya) Nagato Yuki (Chihara Minori) Asahina Mikuru (Goto Yuko)

The ending theme of the anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
The dance became instantly famous, and lots of people copied it and danced along.
If you gather a few friends and dance, it’s sure to liven things up! Highly recommended for anyone who just wants to have fun!
Love Song of LumMatsutani Yūko

For those who want to sing a cute song, I recommend “Lum’s Love Song.” It’s the opening theme of the anime Urusei Yatsura.
The original was sung by Yuko Matsutani in 1981, and many artists have covered it since.
If you’re planning to perform it as entertainment, the version covered by the Korean idol group ORANGE CARAMEL is a great choice.
Compared to the original, it feels more feminine and poppy.
1/2Kawamoto Makoto

The opening theme for the Fuji TV anime Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Swordsman Romantic Story.
At the time of its release, there weren’t many female singers known for performing with a guitar, so it’s no exaggeration to say she helped popularize that image.
It’s an absolute crowd-pleaser.

Chu, diversity.ano

This song by ano, a singer-songwriter who transitioned from being an idol, captivates with its catchy melody and unique worldview.
Incorporating Chinese-inspired motifs in both the lyrics and visuals, ano takes on a fresh form of expression.
The upbeat rhythm naturally lifts listeners’ spirits, and the memorable phrases stick with you after just one listen.
Digitally released in November 2022 and featured as an ending theme for the TV anime Chainsaw Man, this track is sure to elevate the fun at year-end and New Year parties.
Rising HopeLiSA

Speaking of LiSA, it’s all about anisongs! She also has an image of singing mostly high-pitched songs, right? Among them, “Rising Hope” is probably one that many people feel is “so fast and so high… great to listen to, but tough to sing!” My students struggled with it, too.
Of course the high notes are challenging, but the tempo is also very fast at 190.
On top of that, there are lots of rap-like and intricate parts, so you want to make sure you don’t get left behind while singing.
Also, for the ends of phrases in the chorus, if you slightly lengthen them and articulate the vowels clearly, it adds to the vibe and sounds cool! There are lots of high notes in succession, but try to keep the sound resonating in your head so the pitch doesn’t drop.
