Spring Festival | Gifu UniversityGifu Prefecture, Sat 4/25–Sun 4/26
This is the spring campus festival for new students held by Gifu University, a representative university of Gifu Prefecture. The university is active in international exchange and has an International Student Center that supports study abroad, so the festival features performances by international students and distinctive events such as bazaars.
The university festival at Gifu Shotoku Gakuen University’s Hashima Campus is called the “Kisei Festival,” a large event that combines a school festival with an athletic meet. In addition to food stalls, numerous vendors, and various events, it features popular attractions such as the annual “Okashimaki” (candy toss) and a grand lottery, making it a festival that people of all ages—from adults to children—can enjoy.
We would like to introduce the Kiryosai Festival at Gifu University of Medical Science, where you can learn about clinical laboratory science, radiological technology, and more. In addition to live stage events and food stalls, the festival also features annual health-themed lectures unique to a medical university. If you’re in the area, please come and visit!
