Fire engine siren sound. Sound effect / vehicle ambient sound

Fire engine siren sound. Sound effect / vehicle ambient sound
Last updated:

I’ve collected various fire engine siren sounds—from Showa-era Japanese fire engines to those from overseas, and engines actively engaged in firefighting operations.

Feel the tension of the firefighters who risk their lives confronting fires.

NY Fire Engine Sound

This work documents the sequence from a fire department base station’s phone response to the dispatch of fire engines to the scene.

It includes inserted footage that appears to be 3D graphics from some game, resulting in a composition with a striking sense of realism.

I’m recording a fire engine signal that’s quite shrill, intimidating, and likely to evoke a sense of alertness.

It’s a familiar sound, so there’s nothing novel about it, but the recording seems to have been made from very close range, giving it a powerful impact.

However, possibly due to the recording environment, there are parts where the audio appears somewhat distorted.

Fire engine dispatch sound effect

This piece turns the dispatch scene of a Showa-era fire engine into sound effects.

Compared to works that simply edit siren sounds, it more readily evokes the imagery from preparation to rollout, resulting in a style with stronger realism.

The audio quality is also high, so it feels natural even when listened to at high volume.

This is a rare video work that was filmed at the scene of an actual fire in Japan.

As it is a natural recording, it contains noise and conversation, but it can be considered a valuable piece of footage where you can see fire engines diligently engaged in firefighting while emitting blaring warning signals.

Patrol fire engine

This is a video work that records fire trucks patrolling in preparation for major winter fires.

The distinctive kaan-kaan sound effect serves as a fire-safety warning that carries far into the distance.

Japan has historically paid special attention to fires, so there is a deep sense of sentiment in this.

We’re capturing footage of fire engines driving through the heart of New York City.

Multiple engines are moving together in a convoy, a rare scene you’d only see during a major incident.

Both the audio and video are clear enough for news use, so it’s definitely worth a watch.

This work features a recording of an unusual fire truck with an open top.

The siren sound is markedly different from those in Japan and leaves a strong impression even after a single viewing.

As it was recorded in the field, conversations and noise are included, but they are at a level that does not hinder viewing.
