A band that has led Canada’s punk rock scene, they have been active for about 29 years since forming in 1996.

Their 2001 album All Killer No Filler was an international smash, and its track Fat Lip became a signature song loved across generations.

In 2003, they won Group of the Year at the Juno Awards in Canada, among other notable achievements.

In March 2024, they released their final album, Heaven :x: Hell, and disbanded after their final show in Toronto in January 2025.

In 1997, they won a Grammy for “Bullet with Butterfly Wings.” Centered around Billy Corgan, the band has reunited multiple times since their 2000 breakup and remains highly active, releasing the new album Aghori Mhori Mei in 2024.

In 2025, with original members James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin on board, they embarked on a long-awaited Japan tour—including a stop at the Nippon Budokan—that electrified both longtime fans and a new generation, leaving a vivid impression.
