Sengoku MCBATTLE Chapter 19ID vs. Ku-Jun

ID vs Kukun / Sengoku MCBATTLE Chapter 19 (2019.3.31) Official BEST BOUT 2
Sengoku MCBATTLE Chapter 19ID vs Ku-Jun

This is the battle between ID and Ku-Jun that took place in Round 2, the captain match, of Sengoku MCBATTLE Chapter 19.

Because a brisk, light-footed track was chosen, both rappers’ flows and wordplay really stand out.

Ku-Jun comes in from the start with a nimble, rapid-fire delivery, and ID steps up to face that head-on; the whole battle moves along at the same quick tempo.

As a contest, ID gives off a sense of composure, but it also feels like Ku-Jun’s speedy provocation is what generated the overall pace of the battle.

In the 2020 KOK as well, one of the most intense battles was the match between SIMON JAP and Kan a.k.a.

GAMI.

It was their first battle after Kan was accused of being copied, and right from the start SIMON’s fierce rap left a strong impression.

Rather than responding on the same aggressive wavelength, Kan absorbed the attack and delivered verses that surpassed SIMON’s, showcasing a character you can’t help but call cool.

If you like hard-hitting battles, definitely check this one out!

One of the most intense recent MC battles was the showdown between Gardman and Ryofu Karma at Sengoku vs Gaisen MCBATTLE 2021 Summer.

The focal point of this battle was Ryofu Karma’s YouTube debut, but Gardman’s relentless taunts were downright exhilarating.

In response, Ryofu Karma delivered solid comebacks while subtly shifting the main topic—showcasing the top-tier technique of an active champion.

Although their styles differ, both thrive on YouTube, making this fiery clash a must-watch!

Victory MC Battle Special 2023 at Tokyo Garden TheaterRyofu Karuma vs Ry-lax

Luv K. Karma vs. Ry-lax — Gaisenh MC Battle Special 2023 at Tokyo Garden Theater (held on August 27)
Victory MC Battle Special 2023 at Tokyo Garden TheaterRyofu Karuma vs Ry-lax

This was a bout from the Homecoming MC Battle Special 2023 held at Tokyo Garden Theater.

As he came on stage, Ryofu Karma suddenly started rapping along with his entrance SE, to which Ry-lax shot back with a parody of one of Ryofu’s famous lines: “Don’t talk before it starts.” The two had the crowd hyped even before the first bar, and the battle stayed packed with highlights once it kicked off.

Ry-lax showcased a variety of raps—starting by sampling the opening lyrics of the chosen beat, How Many Boogie, delivering precise disses, and mimicking lines Ryofu had used in past battles.

Ryofu, on the other hand, stayed composed, countering with solid technique, supremely confident bars, and highly improvisational rap that flipped his opponent’s words in real time.

It’s a clash that hip-hop fans familiar with their history will appreciate all the more.

Sengoku 11th Anniversary Battle RoyalRyūki vs MAKA vs ID vs Yella goat

Ryuki vs MAKA vs ID vs Yella Goat / Sengoku 11th Anniversary Battle Royal (2023.09.16)
Sengoku 11th Anniversary Battle RoyalRyūki vs MAKA vs ID vs Yella goat

It’s an MC battle where four people all fight individually at the same time: a 1vs1vs1vs1 format.

Within two 16-bar rounds, it’s striking how each person tries to show off their own style.

Although a single winner is ultimately decided in this battle, as they say in the raps—“the four of us are making one song,” “there’s no win or loss among the four”—the appeal lies in watching them have fun improvising a track together.

Each of the four has a different tone of voice and flow, each with their own approach, so rather than focusing on who wins or loses, try watching while thinking about whose rap you like the most.

U-22 MCBATTLE SP 3on3ONO-D vs DOPEMAN

ONO-D vs DOPEMAN/U-22 MCBATTLE SP 3on3(2018 7/14 )
U-22 MCBATTLE SP 3on3ONO-D vs DOPEMAN

This is a battle from the 2018 U-22 MCBATTLE SP 3on3, made possible when ONO-D called out DOPEMAN.

With a laid-back tempo beat and a two-round, 16-bar format, each turn felt impressively long.

ONO-D kicks things off not with the typical rapid-fire disses you’d expect in an MC battle, but by hyping the crowd with a relaxed flow.

As he even says in his own verse, it felt almost like a live showcase.

DOPEMAN responds by delivering his rap with a deep, off-beat groove.

This battle feels like they’re performing their own tracks—and once you watch it, you’ll definitely want to see it again and again.

Shibuya Cypher Festival 2019TKda kurobuchi vs Ryofu Karuma

Also known as Mr.

Cool Core, Rofu Karma.

A battle that really showcases his cool side is his match against TKda Kurobuchi at the Shibuya Cypher Festival 2019.

TK is famous for his fiery battles, which contrasts with Rofu’s chill persona.

In this clash of heat and cold, the result was a landslide victory for the ice-cold Rofu.

He gets dissed with lines like “You’re actually a nice guy,” but the way he flips that diss using a woman as a metaphor in his verse is seriously Big Up.
