A collection of Japanese songs themed around “Friday” [Friday]

Speaking of Fridays—it’s practically the weekend—so for those who have Saturdays and Sundays off, it’s probably a day you can spend in a slightly more upbeat mood.

That might be true for students as well.

Back in the day, people even used the expression “Flower Friday” to mean you could stay out late because there’s no school or work the next day.

Maybe because Friday has that kind of special vibe, there are lots of Japanese songs that use “Friday” as their theme.

This time, I’ve put together a selection of those tracks to share with you all.

You don’t often get the chance to listen to music from this kind of angle, do you?

Be sure to stick with me to the very end!
