From laugh-out-loud clips to creative masterpieces—an ultimate collection of entertaining music videos
In recent years, more and more music videos (MVs) have been actively released on YouTube.
They’ve become essential for conveying an artist’s vision for a song—as well as the appeal of the artist and the track itself—to listeners.
In this article, we’ll introduce a selection of MVs that have been especially buzzworthy for being “interesting.”
By “interesting,” we don’t just mean laugh-out-loud funny—we’ve also picked MVs that are fascinating from a visual production standpoint.
From works handled by popular video creators to pieces directed by the artists themselves, there’s a wide variety here, so please enjoy!

From laugh-out-loud to creative masterpieces, all in one place! A roundup of fun music videos (71–80)
I can’t find anything important besides you.flumpool

At first glance, it looks like a perfectly good music video, but there’s one thing about flumpool here that’s markedly different from usual.
Most people will notice it pretty quickly along the way: “that person” is unusually well integrated into the band.
It’s a really good song if you just listen to it normally, so if you want to be moved purely, it might be better to listen without watching the video.
galaxyFujifaburikku

This is the music video shot nearly ten years earlier by the director of Frederic’s “Oddloop” MV.
The mysterious dance by the expressionless girl had already been perfected at this point.
Pay attention not only to the dancing girls, but also to the girl standing there in a daze.
The movements are comical, but if you came home and found people like this inside, it would be full-on horror, wouldn’t it?
All Foolswasureranneeyo

A music video made purely from the idea of a boy getting coldly mocked by the girls in his class—“Boys are such idiots, aren’t they!” If you want to remember how it felt to be young and foolish, by all means watch it.
If you were on the side that looked at foolish boys with a cool, judgmental gaze, it’s not particularly recommended.

JOYYU-KI

It’s YUKI’s ‘JOY.’ A lot of people wearing very strange masks appear and dance all at once, and the choreography is quite distinctive.
The unique dancing—like the ‘NO MORE Eiga Dorobo’ piracy warning that plays before movies—is really fun.
YUKI dances too.
Your Small Hands ~ Maximum the HormoneMakishimamu Za Horumon

The song and music video titled “Chiisana Kimi no Te” by Maximum the Hormone were released after member Nao became pregnant and gave birth, and many people were surprised because the tone, visuals, and lyrics—all of it—seemed completely different from the band’s usual style, clearly conscious of that timing.
But it’s actually a fake MV: halfway through, it makes a sharp turn back into their usual Hormone style.
The fake first half was also a hot topic because it was made in a “FanMon-style” MV, consciously modeled after FUNKY MONKEY BABYS, a fellow band from Hachioji they’ve poked fun at for years.
A lot of people probably went, “I knew it!” at the sudden switch, right? (lol)
In conclusion
We introduced a wide range of interesting music videos, from laugh-out-loud humorous ones to highly polished works that stand on their own as visual pieces with unique expressions. The lineup included everything from creations by popular video creators to works the artists themselves were involved in, and each one was crafted with care, letting you feel the artist’s and song’s world. Of course the music is great, but from now on, let’s enjoy the visuals together with it too!
