Friends’ SongZūkaraderu

Zutto popular in today’s Japanese rock scene, the band Zookaraderu has been drawing attention.
Rather than chasing trends, they stick to the kind of rock they want to make—a stance that’s earned high praise from hardcore fans.
Among their songs, the one I especially recommend is Tomodachi no Uta.
While it’s not a track with particularly heavy low end, the vocal line has a masculine edge, making it perfect for showcasing the rich depth of a low male voice.
Definitely consider adding it to your repertoire.
Knock Knockpirafu seijin

Pilaf Seijin is a rapper who draws attention—for better or worse—in the MC battle scene.
While he tends to attract a lot of haters in battles, his recorded music has been quite successful, racking up over a million plays, which is rare in hip-hop.
Among his tracks, the one I especially recommend is “Knock Knock.” It’s delivered in a style that sits between rapping and singing, and it’s performed within a narrow vocal range throughout all parts.
It’s a big hit with teens and up, so definitely consider adding it to your repertoire.

Leveraging the strength of all being from the Kansai region, Naniwa Danshi continues to captivate audiences with performances brimming with Kansai-specific charm.
They made their CD debut in November 2021, and many of their subsequent releases have ranked high on the Oricon charts.
The group has built a sparkling track record, including winning Best 5 New Artists at the 36th Japan Gold Disc Awards.
Every member is also skilled in acting, thriving across a wide range of fields such as TV dramas, films, and stage productions.
In April 2024, they formed the limited-time unit KAMIGATA BOYZ together with other Johnny’s groups from Kansai, further accelerating their momentum.
They’re highly recommended for those drawn to the blend of friendly Kansai dialect and polished performance.
In conclusion
This time, we introduced karaoke songs we recommend for Gen Z men—what did you think? In recent years, J-pop has evolved and there are more challenging songs, but these picks are relatively easy to sing.
Start by giving them a try, and once you gain confidence, feel free to take on the harder tracks too!
