BalalaikaKusumi Koharu

Some people want to sing an upbeat song but aren’t comfortable with anything too intense.
In that case, I recommend Balalaika.
It’s known as the opening theme for the anime Kirarin Revolution.
The song is performed by Koharu Kusumi, a former Morning Musume member who also voiced the main character.
It features an exotic-sounding melody and lyrics that flow like tongue twisters.
Since many similar phrases appear in the lyrics, be careful not to mix them up.

SnatchwaySKY-HI

SKY-HI is the solo project of Mitsuhiro Hidaka, who is also a member of AAA.
This track overwhelms you with Eminem-level enunciation and densely packed lyrics.
The lively sound features a full band and even horns!
peace signYonezu Kenshi

It’s the opening theme for season 2 of the anime “My Hero Academia.” Thanks to the anime’s popularity, the song is well-known and easy to sing along with right from the start.
The overall vocal range is D#3–G#4, and I think the key part is the sustained “ni” in the chorus.
When pronouncing the vowel “i,” people tend to pull the mouth sideways, which can tense the throat.
That makes high notes harder to hit, so you need to create space inside the mouth and carry the sound with your breath.
Try to match the timing and imagine projecting your voice diagonally upward from your eyebrows.
If you avoid over-enunciating the “ni” and aim for a humming-like sensation, it should be easier to sing!
Adventure Beyondchōtokkyū

It’s a full-on, high-energy uptempo track that’s so typical of Choutokkyuu, and it really gets the crowd going at live shows, with lots of call-and-response parts where everyone can shout together! The overall vocal range is two octaves, from C#3 to C#5, but thanks to the headbanging sections and the many unique lyrics sprinkled with otaku terms and internet slang, you’ll find the high notes come out easily if you sing brightly and keep the hype up.
Don’t worry about pitch—just have fun singing, that’s the most important thing! By the way, I love Ryoga’s funny faces during the song and I always burst out laughing, lol.
Definitely check out the video!
Joyfulikimonogakari

Ikimono-gakari’s super-energetic pop song “Joyful.” When it was released, it was played in commercials and elsewhere, and its quirky dance and melody shocked people all across Japan.
Even though it came out in 2009, it still gets everyone hyped with no problem today! It’s a signature high-energy number in Japanese pop—once you hear it, it’ll be stuck in your head, so watch out!
Full driveKANA-BOON

The four-piece rock band KANA-BOON’s ‘Full Drive’ is one of their most exhilarating, fast-paced tracks.
It’s a classic guitar-rock tune that showcases their signature style, but this song stands out with an exceptional sense of speed.
It’s a huge crowd-pleaser live, and the explosive leap from the tricky verse into the chorus is irresistible.
If you just want to stop thinking and go wild, letting the groove take over, this is the song for you! Simple yet powerful, it’s a track every guitar rock fan should hear.
Cherry BombSilent Siren

The girls’ band SILENT SIREN.
When you think of their upbeat songs, “Cherry Bomb” probably comes to mind.
It’s a track that compares the thrill of romance to a cherry and a bomb.
The melody is classic rock, so both people who’ve heard it before and first-time listeners can get into it.
Another key point is that the song has spots for call-and-response and places to shout interjections.
Be sure to get everyone involved and turn up the excitement!
