This piece is a cover of a song by Hikaru Utada, who is well-known in Japan.
The appeal lies in covering songs by international artists and performing them with a unique sense of expression and sound.
Street Fighter MasKamasi Washington

Among the new-generation jazz musicians who have defined the scene since the 2010s, one of the most important figures is the American jazz saxophonist Kamasi Washington, who leads the way with his distinctive style.
Raised in a musical family, Kamasi was immersed in music from an early age and began his full-fledged career in the 2000s.
His name truly broke into the wider public consciousness with The Epic, the ambitious triple-album released in 2015 on Brainfeeder, the cutting-edge label run by none other than Flying Lotus.
Beyond his commanding presence as a saxophonist, he demonstrated exceptional talent as a songwriter, delivering a modern vision of spiritual jazz in a landmark recording.
If you want to understand where jazz is “now,” he is a saxophonist you absolutely need to know.
The Girl From IpanemaStan Getz

Stan Getz, a tenor saxophonist who gained popularity for his advanced technique and stylish sound.
Because he grew up in a poor family, he didn’t play the saxophone for the first time until he was 13.
That’s a slightly late start compared to other sax players.
It’s said that the saxophone he used back then was in very rough shape.
In high school, thanks to his exceptionally high IQ, he ranked first or second in his class, and after numerous auditions he made his professional debut.
In his later years, that high IQ contributed to mental health struggles, and he fell into drug addiction for a time, but he turned his life around and produced classic albums incorporating bossa nova.
Just FriendsSonny Stitt

When it comes to saxophonists who were active during the bebop and hard bop eras of jazz, Sonny Stitt is indispensable.
He was a player known for his clearly articulated phrasing and bright, warm tone.
He’s also famous for the unusual practice of switching between alto and tenor sax.
Because their playing styles were similar, he was often compared to the great saxophonist Charlie Parker, but there’s no doubt that both were jazz giants who sustained the bebop era.
Yo Le Canto a La LunaGato Barbieri

He was a tenor saxophonist from Argentina, born in 1932.
His performance genre was jazz, but true to his Argentine roots, he combined it with Latin elements and became known for what is called Latin jazz.
