Cardboard Mickey headband
Here are some ideas for making Mickey-style headbands out of cardstock.
It’s very easy, so be sure to try it with your child.
First, prepare black cardstock.
Fold one sheet into a long, narrow strip to make the base of the headband.
From another sheet, cut out two circular pieces.
Make a small slit in each circle, overlap the cut edges slightly, and glue them to create a three-dimensional piece.
Attach these as ears to the headband base.
Finally, punch holes at both ends of the base, thread a rubber band through, and you’ll have an adorable headband! Add a bow to turn it into a Minnie version.
pumpkin basket

Let’s make an atmospheric Halloween decoration by crafting a jack-o’-lantern using mesh cord! First, prepare twelve orange mesh cords, each 26 cm long, and mark the center on four of them.
Create the first weave using those four cords, then add the remaining cords.
Next, mark the base with a pencil and fold along the marks using a ruler or another straight edge.
Continue weaving the upright cords, then fold the upper ends back and weave them into the body to finish the edge.
Finally, glue on the jack-o’-lantern’s face and handle, and you’re done!
Halloween ornament

These are small ornaments characterized by their softness, made using yarn and dish sponges.
Roll a dish sponge into a ball with rubber bands, then wrap yarn around it to form a sphere.
Try to wrap the yarn so the sponge doesn’t show; if it does peek through, using a similar color is recommended so it doesn’t look out of place.
Once you’ve finished wrapping, attach facial features and other parts to complete it.
Add originality by getting creative with your choice of motifs and the shapes of the parts.
crown-shaped headband

Let’s make a cute crown-shaped headband using a paper cup.
First, cut off the rim of the paper cup with scissors, then make multiple small triangles by cutting into the cup.
Attach two half-circle stickers so they sandwich each pointed tip of the triangles, and decorate around them with decorative stickers.
Finally, punch holes in the bottom part of the paper cup and thread the headband base through them to finish! You can also use pom-poms or other decorations on the pointed parts.
Try making it with any decorations you like!
