Magic where candy appears from a cup

Wouldn’t it be exciting if you could cast a spell on an empty cup and have a bunch of candy appear? This is just that kind of dreamlike magic… or so we’d like to say, but in fact there’s a setup prepared in advance.
You’ll need two clear plastic cups, one sheet of origami paper, and lots of candy.
First, cut off the rim of one of the plastic cups and fill that cup with candy.
Next, place the candy-filled cup inside the uncut cup, and insert the origami paper between them to act as a cover.
Once you’re ready, it’s showtime! Start by lifting the origami paper together with the candy-filled inner cup to show that there’s nothing inside the uncut plastic cup.
Then, when you cover the cup with the origami paper, slip the candy-filled cup back into the uncut cup—and that’s it.
It requires no difficult techniques, yet the sudden appearance of lots of candy is sure to be a hit!
Magic where a card sticks into the arm

It’s a magic trick where an ordinary-looking playing card seems to smoothly pass through your arm the moment you stand it up against it.
The secret is to prepare two identical cards and make a gimmick card to perform with.
The gimmick card is very easy to make—you only need two identical cards, scissors, and glue, and it takes about three minutes.
Will the coins increase?

This trick goes like this: 100-yen coins appear from various places, you drop them into a mug, and when you’ve put in five and give the mug a shake, the five 100-yen coins have turned into a single 500-yen coin! It’s actually a presentation-based trick—the 500-yen coin is secretly placed in the mug from the start.
Practice showing it smoothly so the method doesn’t get exposed!
Coin Play Magic

Here’s a coin trick you can do with a 500-yen coin.
Stand the coin on its edge with your fingers, then rub it with your index finger to make it spin—it’s a simple magic trick.
After rubbing your finger a few times, you switch to using your thumb at the end to set it spinning.
The key is timing the switch from index finger to thumb and keeping your finger movements smooth.
You can use other coins besides the 500-yen coin, so once you learn it, you can perform this trick in all kinds of situations.
Magic that turns juice into water

This is a magic trick where juice in a glass in front of you turns into water.
Prepare a transparent cup and a cut-out piece made from another cup that includes the rim and the bottom, then color the entire piece with a permanent marker.
Stack this colored insert inside another cup, pour in water, and cover it with a handkerchief or cloth.
When you lift out the colored insert along with the cloth, it creates the illusion that the liquid’s color has changed.
It’s also fun to try with Halloween-themed yellow or purple inserts.
Magical Egg

It might be a little different from actual magic, but there’s a product called a Magical Egg that comes with a toy inside.
It contains small magic props, and many of them are simple enough for children to do.
Buying a bunch and opening them together while having fun, then showing off magic tricks to one another, really makes for a lively time!
A magic trick where you guess where the contents are

This is a magic trick where you guess which paper cup the item has moved to.
After lining up three paper cups, the magician turns away so they can’t see, and a spectator places an item into any cup they like.
After asking the spectator to swap one of the empty cups once, the magician identifies the cup containing the item.
The trick is that only the middle cup has a mark, allowing you to tell where it has moved.
Using paper cups and items with themes like ghosts, Dracula, or jack-o’-lanterns can enhance the Halloween atmosphere.
