I’ll show you how to do makeup to become Hachiware, a character from Chiikawa.

First, paint your face completely white.

Next, draw Hachiware’s most distinctive feature: the split “eight-shaped” fur line on the forehead, and color the boundary with the head in blue.

Draw the eyebrows, paint around the eyes in black, and then color the cheeks round and pink.

Finally, draw the mouth to finish—but don’t use the lips; express it using the nose and philtrum.

It’s quite a striking look, so it’s sure to draw attention if you wear it for Halloween.

Dwarf handprint makeup

A simple little-hand makeup look you can do with just three lipsticks.

Use all red-toned lipsticks and create depth by varying the intensity.

First, sketch the handprint with the lightest shade and dab with a brush to blend.

Next, layer the second-darkest lipstick on the back of the hand and fingertips to add dimension to the handprint.

Finally, pick up the deepest reddish-brown lipstick with a cotton swab, add it over the areas you applied before, and finish with a glossy look.

For the first and second lipsticks, matte formulas are recommended.

Suture Makeup

Draw a straight line between your eyes and nose with brown eye shadow, then layer red eye shadow over it.

By partially applying a red-toned lip product on top, you can easily create the look of a wound.

Use the lip product to dot points above and below the line for the stitch holes, and attach crossed threads to finish.

Don’t forget to dab some lip color on the ends of the threads as well.

Suture-style makeup is a Halloween classic and is very versatile—you can use it on areas other than the face, too.

Be sure to learn it this season.

Hello Kitty-style makeup

Kitty turned into a monster 😂⁉️ I tried a super cute Halloween makeup look that was going viral overseas! [Sanrio × Monster High]
Hello Kitty-style makeup

Let’s recreate Hello Kitty with Halloween-style white face paint and bandages.

After painting your face white, use pink-toned eyeshadow to create a gradient on your eyelids.

Apply a thick eyeliner and put on voluminous false eyelashes.

Draw whiskers on your cheeks, and a yellow dot on the tip of your nose to finish the makeup.

Since Hello Kitty doesn’t have a mouth, cover your mouth area with bandages.

If you’re comfortable, using circle lenses that enlarge your irises will help mimic Hello Kitty’s solid black eyes and add a monster-like vibe—highly recommended!

If you’re thinking about a cute-style look, how about Menhera makeup? There are a few key points: first, draw your eyeliner to create a droopy, puppy-eye effect.

Use red-toned eyeshadow and apply it all around the eyes.

A highlighted under-eye bag (aegyo-sal) is essential, and skip the eyelash curler so your lashes look slightly downcast.

If you want your eyes to appear as big and defined as possible, a double-line technique is recommended.

Lastly, for lips, orange is the mainstream choice.

However, since personal preference and what suits you best vary, feel free to choose the shade you like.

The Third Eye

The Third Eye

Cut a round piece of Styrofoam in half to make the base of the eyeball.

Paint a hole-repair sticker in your preferred color and stick it in the center of the base.

Use a black pen to color the center black, and feel free to add designs to the sticker—your eyeball is complete.

Next, attach it wherever you like.

Simply gluing it on can look less integrated with the body, so use double eyelid glue or similar adhesive to embed tissue into the gaps.

Coloring the tissue to match your skin tone will create a more seamless look.

Upside-down face makeup

Upside-down face makeup

Since we ultimately want the face to appear upside down, invert your eye makeup: apply false lashes to the lower lashes, draw the tear bag on the eyelid, and so on.

Use eyeshadow skillfully to draw a nose on your forehead, then draw lips even higher above that.

Use lipstick or gloss on the lips to create a three-dimensional finish.

With the makeup complete, cover your real mouth with a mask or scarf to check the result.

This uncanny, slightly eerie upside-down face makeup is perfect for Halloween.
