Adam and Barbara try to scare them away by appearing as ghosts, but it has no effect.
In the end, they summon Beetlejuice—despite being told, “You mustn’t ask him for help.” Beetlejuice proceeds to cause all sorts of trouble.
It’s not only spooky but also rich in comedy, making it a film that can be enjoyed with children.
Hocus pocus

It’s the story of a group of kids and the three witch sisters who chase them—the Halloween movie Hocus Pocus.
Released in 1993, it was directed by Kenny Ortega, who also worked on the documentary Michael Jackson’s This Is It.
It’s a slapstick comedy centered on a witches’ curse, with more laugh-out-loud moments than scares.
Adults might find themselves thinking, “So this is what ’90s movies felt like…” If you’re looking for something easygoing and light, definitely give this a watch!
Haunted Mansion

How about the movie based on the familiar Disneyland attraction, Haunted Mansion? It was adapted into a live-action film in 2003, starring Eddie Murphy.

Billy and his friends name the Mogwai “Gizmo” and dote on him, but they end up breaking the three rules that must never be violated when caring for a Mogwai.
As a result, evil little monsters called Gremlins spawn from the Mogwai and throw the town into chaos.
Billy and the others fight back against the Gremlins, but can they restore peace to the town? It’s a film whose highlights are Gizmo’s adorableness and the Gremlins’ terrifying nature.
