[Halloween Crafts] Yarn Shines! Handmade Ideas and Tips (11–20)
Black Cat of Halloween

This is a cute, shaggy black cat made with yarn and a toilet paper roll.
Toilet paper rolls are handy because you can use their round tube shape while easily cutting and gluing them.
Once the roll base is ready, wrap black yarn all around it.
Use glue to adjust and attach the head, body, and tail.
After forming the black cat’s body, attach felt ears and a hat with double-sided tape.
Finally, add a cute ribbon and bell, and stick on round-label eyes.
Your charming, fluffy black cats are complete!
yarn pumpkin

When it comes to Halloween, pumpkins are a must.
First, wrap yellow yarn around a fork.
Then thread yarn through the center and tie it, and in no time it turns into a pumpkin shape! Add a stem with green yarn, and it’s done.
We recommend threading the finished pumpkins onto pipe cleaners to make a wreath.
You can also add a magnet to stick them on a chalkboard.
Start by making lots of them and then think about how you want to use them.
Halloween ornament

These are small ornaments characterized by their softness, made using yarn and dish sponges.
Roll a dish sponge into a ball with rubber bands, then wrap yarn around it to form a sphere.
Try to wrap the yarn so the sponge doesn’t show; if it does peek through, using a similar color is recommended so it doesn’t look out of place.
Once you’ve finished wrapping, attach facial features and other parts to complete it.
Add originality by getting creative with your choice of motifs and the shapes of the parts.
Fluffy Yarn Monster

Prepare some yarn and wrap it around the hand opposite your dominant hand.
Once you’ve wrapped enough that you can’t see the skin, slide the bundle off your hand and tie it together using a piece of yarn about 10 cm long.
Tie it tightly so it doesn’t come undone.
If it’s difficult for a child to do alone, an adult should help.
Insert scissors into the two holes created when you tied the bundle and cut through the looped sections.
After cutting both sides, fluff and trim the yarn with scissors to make it round.
Finally, attach the eye parts to finish! Once you get the hang of it, try using multiple colors of yarn to make a colorful monster.
Yarn cotton ball decoration

Three-dimensional mascots made with yarn—its softness and light-transmitting look are the key highlights.
The simple process of sticking yarn onto an inflated balloon and then removing the balloon inside is also appealing.
Decide which Halloween motif you want to make and choose yarn that suits it.
It’s important to glue the yarn on firmly so the shape doesn’t collapse after you remove the balloon.
Play around with color choices, yarn density, and any add-on parts to create a mascot that’s uniquely yours.
[Halloween] AmiAmi Jack-o’-Lantern
A Halloween classic, the jack-o’-lantern, made with cardboard and yarn.
Cut the cardboard into a pumpkin shape and punch evenly spaced holes around the edge.
If you’re making this with children, it’s a good idea to prepare up to this step in advance.
Thread orange yarn through the holes, then cross it diagonally and keep going freely as you like.
Finally, attach the facial features made from black construction paper, and it’s complete.

Prepare a headband, wire, yarn, ribbon, decorative pearls, bells, and glue.
Choose a plain headband without decorations, and furry-type yarn is recommended.
First, glue the yarn to one end of the headband and wrap it around to cover the entire surface.
Next, shape the wire into cat ears and attach it to the headband.
Tie the yarn to the wire, wrap it around to cover the ears, and glue the ends to finish the base.
Attach bells to the ribbon and decorate any part of the headband you like.
Adding pearls to the ears will give it a more luxurious look.
