While it’s important to connect the lines to form a loop, make sure to pay close attention to the orientation of components such as batteries and miniature bulbs.

Think about the conditions required for electricity to flow, and complete a correct circuit with the components oriented properly.

Increasing the number of components like batteries and bulbs, or branching the lines along the way, also raises the difficulty level—highly recommended for an extra challenge.

Harness your creativity and make it with construction paper! Here are ideas for “Defeat the Aliens!” In the video, we use a cup-ramen rocket, but it could also work as a target for throwing stars! What you’ll need: construction paper in your favorite colors, tape or glue, scissors, pens, and round stickers.

Many of you are probably good at origami.

It’s great for developing dexterity, so I recommend it! This time, let’s make a devil target you’ll want to quickly take down with a shuriken and have some fun.

You’ll need origami paper in your favorite colors, plus pens or colored pencils.

If you add a scary face to the finished devil, it might help you get into the spirit of taking down the bad guy.

When the shuriken hits, it collapses with a flop, which makes it really fun!
