The song he wrote to pour out the loneliness he carries is “Kimi ga Inai” (“You’re Not Here”).

In the lyrics, Hannya is depicted facing off against “loneliness,” personified.

It’s a song anyone can relate to as if it were their own story.

It’s also a great entry point for learning about his background and character.

Hitoribochi ft Yoshi‎MIYACHI

It’s a hip-hop track that sings about feelings of loneliness and the desire to be with someone.

It’s by MIYACHI, a rapper from New York, and it’s included on his 2021 EP “GOOD NIGHT TOKYO.” MIYACHI’s word choice and lyrical flair are seriously addictive—you hear it once and you’re hooked.

It’s not a straightforward love song, but if you’ve ever felt, “It’s kind of lonely being by myself,” it might really hit home.

SearchingPete Rock & CL Smooth ft. Vinia Mojica

A collaboration between the hip-hop duo Pete Rock & CL Smooth and singer-songwriter Vinia Mojica.

Released as a single in 1995, it’s a mellow downtempo track that samples Roy Ayers Ubiquity’s 1976 track “Searching.”
