Ring-through-body magic

This is a magic trick that makes it look like a ring passes through your hand: when you press the ring into your palm it vanishes and then appears on the back of your hand.
An almost invisible thin thread is hooked onto your palm; by keeping the ring looped through this thread, you move it between the front and back of the hand.
Be mindful of how you conceal the ring with your other hand: at the moment it vanishes from the palm, it should already be on the back of the hand, and before it appears on the back, it should be in the palm.
Clearly understand how the thread is hooked to your hand and practice removing it smoothly—this is key to avoiding anything that feels unnatural.
The knot changes color

A simple trick in disguise! Here’s a magic effect where the knot changes color.
In this trick, only the color of the knot changes when you tie the rope.
First, prepare a single rope and a loop made from a rope of a different color.
Thread the loop onto the rope and conceal it in your hand.
Next, pretend to tie the rope, then reveal the looped section.
This makes it look as if the color of the knot has changed.
The key is to reveal the loop as naturally as possible.
A rope piercing through the body

It’s a simple yet highly impactful magic trick where a rope seems to pass through your body.
You’ll use two craft ropes for this trick.
Before you begin, tuck one rope behind your waist.
The idea is to wrap it around from the front and have both ends appear to stick out from around the top of your buttocks.
When the trick starts, take out the second rope and pull it tight.
Then bring it behind your body.
At this moment, secretly hide the second rope in your hand and pull the first rope that was tucked in place.
It will look as if the rope has passed through your body from back to front.

Magic where the shoelaces get tied just by swinging your leg

When you wear sneakers, your shoelaces may come undone and you might have to retie them.
It’s said that you should retie your laces every time you put on your sneakers.
Shoelaces can be a bit of a hassle—but what if they could tie themselves in an instant? Here’s a handy magic trick that does just that.
Prepare one shoelace identical to the one on your shoe, and use thread to create a gimmick.
Insert the gimmicked shoelace into your pants with the thread on top, letting it hang down to your toes.
The laces on the shoes you’re wearing should be tied, but keep the tied part hidden under your pants.
Once the shoelace on the shoe with the gimmick appears untied, the trick begins! Gradually roll up your pant leg and pull the gimmick thread—your shoelace will seem to tie itself instantly.
It requires a setup, but it makes for a fun and surprising magic trick.
Changes of the three ropes

A rope magic routine where three ropes undergo various transformations.
The three ropes you thought were different lengths suddenly become the same length; when each rope is tied into a loop and tossed into the air, they somehow all link together.
Then, when you untie one knot from the linked ropes to make it a single rope, the other knots vanish one after another, leaving a single, seamless rope.
This routine showcases many changes using just three ropes.
A modernized version has been filmed, so if you’d like to try it, be sure to check it out!
Two tangled strings come undone.

A great trick to perform one-on-one: a magic routine where two tangled strings come apart.
All you need are two pieces of string.
First, tie the ends of the first string around your spectator’s wrists.
Then, while crossing their string, tie the second string around your own wrists.
At first glance, it looks like there’s no way to get free.
But using a string-release technique, you can slip out smoothly.
The cat’s cradle-like aspect makes it especially fun.
Using two different colors of string makes it easier to perform.
A ring that changes size

This is a simple magic trick that uses an Optical Illusion Ring.
A ring that’s too small to fit on your finger visibly grows larger until it slips on.
You can also do the reverse, changing the ring’s size at will.
It’s recommended for those who don’t have time to research and practice complex ring tricks.
Since the ring is small, it’s easy to carry around.
It could also come in handy as an icebreaker when the conversation stalls at a party or drinking gathering.
