It was his first solo single after X JAPAN’s breakup, and it carries a message from hide to fans who were depressed by the shock of the breakup: “Don’t mope—look ahead and blast off like a rocket.” Overall, it’s an upbeat, pop-leaning track.

asking for the moonKANA-BOON

This is one of KANA-BOON’s signature songs, depicting the emotional disconnect between lovers.

While the tempo and melody line are very simple, the drum build-up in the chorus is distinctive, and the lyrics are highly provocative, making it a track you never get tired of listening to.

This is a song that grabs you from the intro and drags you along, making you want to start running.

“Full Drive” is KANA-BOON’s third single, released in 2014, and it’s one of their most popular tracks.

From the intro to the very end, it just keeps charging ahead at full throttle, making it a perfect pick-me-up when you want to boost your mood.

It’s not aimed at anyone in particular—it’s a track that ignites a fighting spirit within yourself—so I also recommend it as BGM when you’re having trouble getting work done!
