Recommended Jazz Vocalists: The World’s Great Jazz Singers (11–20)
Back It UpCara Emerald

Caro Emerald, a jazz singer from the Netherlands, is one of the leading vocalists in electro swing—a genre created by Austrian artist Parov Stelar—and she has earned high acclaim not only in Europe but worldwide.
Her classic track “Back It Up” is among her signature works, notable for its upbeat style that blends elements of hip-hop with swing jazz.
One Note SambaElla Fitzgerald

Ella Fitzgerald, known for her swinging scat, has an overwhelming sense of swing even when she sings Latin-style numbers.
Among jazz vocalists, she projects a bright image and can be considered one of the three great vocalists, serving as a role model for singers active today.
Tu sais je vais t´aimerDiana Panton

Diana Panton is an artist whose charming voice and classic jazz vocals leave a strong impression.
She has released many covers and, though she is a Canadian artist, she actively releases songs in French.
As a result, she has built a steady following in Europe as well.
One of her standout tracks is “Tu sais je vais t’aimer.” As the title suggests, it’s a French-language piece, arranged in a quintessential slow-jazz style.
Be sure to give it a listen.
Soul EyesKandace Springs

Candice Springs is an artist from Nashville.
She’s what you’d call a modern jazz singer, and her music shows a strong influence from Norah Jones.
Among her works, the number I especially recommend is Soul Eyes.
It was composed by American trumpeter Terence Blanchard and has been covered by various artists.
This version stands out for its more contemporary, soulful arrangement.
Crazy SwingDELADAP

DELADAP is a music group active across Europe, primarily based in Austria.
They specialize in genres with Austrian roots such as electro swing and adult contemporary, and their electro swing tracks have earned high acclaim worldwide.
One of their standout songs is Crazy Swing.
As the title suggests, it’s a swing piece, and its appeal lies in a modernly crafted swing sound.
Be sure to check it out.
