D.D.Snow Man

With a powerful beat, a track was born that lets the individuality of all nine members shine.
It’s a song filled with Snow Man’s strong passion for their dreams and their determination to move forward.
Released in January 2020 as a joint debut with SixTONES, it sold 1.328 million copies in its first week and topped the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart.
An uplifting anthem meant for those striving to overcome hardship and keep moving ahead, it’s a gem packed with a heartfelt message and a flawlessly synchronized dance performance by the nine members.
encoreHey! Say! JUMP

This song really brings out the best in the group! With lots of unison and harmonies, it’s fun both to sing and to listen to.
Idol groups don’t usually have a strong image of using harmonies, but lately everyone’s vocal skills have been improving, so instead of just unison, there are members who handle harmonies too, which makes it more enjoyable to listen to! The harmonies in this song mostly move a third above, so they’re easy to understand and sing.
Since it’s a group song, I think it would be fun to split the parts among your favorite members and sing it that way!
Glass BoyKinKi Kids

The debut single of Kinki Kids, the duo of Koichi Domoto and Tsuyoshi Domoto, is “Glass no Shonen.” The lyrics were written by Takashi Matsumoto and the music composed by Tatsuro Yamashita—an impressive lineup.
Despite being a debut song, its minor-key melody evokes kayōkyoku more than pop.
At the same time, the lyrics sing about the fragile, glass-like nature of boys and girls, which I think helped it gain popularity across generations.
It’s also a favorite at karaoke regardless of age, so definitely consider choosing it!
Ultra Music PowerHey! Say! JUMP

This is Hey! Say! JUMP’s debut song, overflowing with fresh appeal.
Released in 2007 and used as the image song for the Volleyball World Cup, “Ultra Music Power” has the energy to brighten any scene.
It carries a slightly emotional feel, and its hopeful, positive message is uplifting.
The refreshing vibe and universally appealing melody are wonderful, making it a great recommendation as the first track to warm up the atmosphere.
Sora-buneTOKIO

TOKIO’s signature song “Sorafune” was released on August 23, 2006.
It became a hit as the theme song for the Nippon TV drama “My Boss My Hero,” starring the group’s Tomoya Nagase, and was also chosen as the entrance march for the opening ceremony of the 79th National High School Baseball Invitational Tournament held in March 2007.
It also drew attention for being written and composed by singer Miyuki Nakajima.
The powerful, message-driven lyrics and melody characteristic of Nakajima, delivered with a bold, soaring vocal by Nagase, left a lasting impression.
It’s a great song to sing at karaoke, so be sure to give it a try!
