Summer greetingskyandīzu

With a title that’s a bit too on-the-nose, this song is Candies’ 14th single, released in 1977.
It was reportedly used as the CM song for the summer greeting postcard campaign by the then–Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, for which they served as image characters.
The touch of ukulele that appears briefly in the track gives it a summery vibe.
I’m sure it would be a hit if sung by three people.
CaliforniaKetsumeishi

This is a summer song by Ketsumeishi released in 2014.
Ketsumeishi is known for their beautiful, fleeting melodies, and while “California” has that element too, it’s a laid-back track you can enjoy with a relaxed vibe in the best way.
Wrapped in the refreshing atmosphere and openness of the West Coast, it’s a song that lifts your spirits when you sing it! It’s perfect for singing in an air-conditioned room during the hot summer months.
The shared, easygoing feel makes it a comfortable song to enjoy together, so sing it with your friends along with “Natsu no Omoide” and have fun!
Summer MemoriesKetsumeishi

When it comes to Ketsumeishi’s summer songs, “Natsu no Omoide” is the one that comes to mind.
It’s a groovy hip-hop tune with a driving mid-tempo that’s easy to get into and features light, crisp guitar cutting.
Released as a single in 2003, it reached No.
3 on the Oricon Singles Chart.
It was also used in a commercial for Vodafone at the time, which is now SoftBank.
The lyrics are filled with words that evoke the joys of summer, and just listening to it makes you excited.
Try rapping it and give it a go at karaoke!
Innocent SeasonGesu no Kiwami Otome.

The band Gesu no Kiwami Otome., formed around keyboardist and vocalist Enon Kawatani, released “Muku na Kisetsu” in 2015 as the follow-up to their hit “Romance ga Ariamaru.” It’s a track that expresses the bittersweet feeling of summer ending with an intense arrangement.
While it naturally fits the moment when summer draws to a close, it also seems perfect to sing around July, right as summer begins.
With its cool bassline, it’s likely to resonate with listeners who love deep, low-end sounds.
Summer RainKobukuro

In early July, the lingering rainy season often brings days when it’s hot yet raining.
On days like that, how about listening to “Summer rain,” released in 2009? This emotional track is by the folk duo Kobukuro, who made their major debut in 2001 with their first single “YELL ~Eru~/Bell.” Its catchy, memorable melody seems perfect for karaoke, and if you’re up for it, try tackling the harmony parts too!
