This time, we’ll introduce popular and classic songs sung by Kasane Teto, who has such an unusual origin story.
The voice model was Namine Momoyo Koyama, who was a junior high school student at the time, yet her singing voice carries a somewhat mature vibe.

Fine, I quit being a singer.Namahage P
Namahage-P’s first original UTAU song release.
The sorrowful cry of a singer’s heart is sung by Kasane Teto.
I felt a sense of melancholy in the view of their back while playing the piano.
True to its name, a self-performed “self-baka” version has also been released.
I hope they won’t give up and will keep singing.

Kasane Teto is a virtual character born from 2channel’s VIP board.
If you’re a fan of Vocaloid, you’ve probably heard a Kasane Teto track at least once.
Among her works, one of the most addictive songs is “Hito Mania.” It’s been used in dance videos, but recently it’s shown more range and is also being used in comedic and craft/skill-focused videos.
The chorus is simple yet unforgettable—definitely a must-listen! Be sure to check it out.
twiceyesterday
I love the shift from the quiet intro to the suddenly fiery beat.
The bittersweet lyrics and the way the chorus swells are striking.
It feels like a work that contains both stillness and motion, coldness and heat—an ambivalent duality.
It’s available for karaoke on JOYSOUND, so please give it a try.
Cinder QuartetPokkotokko

An irresistibly addictive Kasane Teto track.
It’s a piece by Vocaloid producer Pokkotokko, released in November 2025.
It features a constant, sprinting sense of speed, playful sound choices, and a distinctive chord progression.
Everything comes together with an exquisite sense of balance.
The high-quality animated MV by General is also a must-see.
Be sure to listen with the volume turned up!
Maidril Wondersasaki

“Maidrill Wonder” was released by sasaki in October 2025.
It’s a short 1-minute-15-second piece where stylish electro sounds pair perfectly with Teto’s cool vocals.
The lyrics reflect backward-looking feelings and the determination to break free from them.
The music video was created by visual artist UPA=Uha, featuring Teto in a maid outfit against a green-themed backdrop.
Be sure to check out this polished Teto track.
TetrisHiiragi Magnetite

Right now, the most talked-about Vocaloid track is “Tetris.” It’s a new song by Hiiragi Magnetite, characterized by a flashy sound that carries a touch of denpa-style essence.
While this piece doesn’t necessarily feature ultra-high phrases, it’s packed with high lines throughout, and the pitch leaps are extremely sharp, giving it an overwhelming level of difficulty.
With few break points, it also demands strong lung capacity—another challenging aspect.
Be sure to add it to your repertoire.
TetrodotoxinPeanut

An ambitious work by Pi-nata that draws you in with its toxic melody.
Released in July 2024, this track is a full-on showcase of Kasane Teto’s allure, centered on the theme of dissatisfaction with modern society.
Set to an electronic sound and an uptempo 140 BPM rhythm, it voices frustration with society and self-loathing.
The music video’s stylish animation is another highlight.
It’s a song for anyone feeling worn out by everyday life—there’s sure to be something you can relate to.
