[KAT-TUN’s Masterpieces] A Curated Selection of Hit Songs and Fan-Favorite Tracks (41–50)

FACE to FACEKAT-TUN

This is the 21st single, released on May 15, 2013.

It reached No.

1 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart dated May 27, 2013.

It was used as the theme song for the film “It’s Me, It’s Me” starring Kazuya Kamenashi.

It was also the last single to feature Koki Tanaka.

SHE SAID…KAT-TUN

This song is included on their debut album “Best of KAT-TUN,” released on March 22, 2006.

It was used as an insert song for the drama “Happy!” starring Junnosuke Taguchi, and it also served as the ending theme for “KAT-TUN×3.”

From the eerie melody to the explosive sound, this track lets you feel KAT-TUN’s bold confidence.

And Tanaka-kun rapping is seriously cool! The rap’s content really brings out their unique vibe, and that arrogant “ore-sama” attitude is irresistible.

CHANGE UR WORLDKAT-TUN

CHANGE UR WORLDKAT-TUN

Starting with an intense sound and staying fierce to the end, this song gives me chills the whole way through.

You can really feel Tanaka-kun’s rap has powered up even more.

And Kamenashi-kun singing in those high notes looks incredibly cool.

PERFECTKAT-TUN

With a light, brisk tempo and lyrics that feel like cheering on a bright melody, the song seems like it’s dedicated to the fans and also sung to ourselves.

Since we became five members, I feel we’ve been singing songs like this more often.

Despite its bright sound, it carries a touch of loneliness.

Ode to JoyKAT-TUN

Because it was the theme song for the drama starring Tanaka-kun, the rap lyrics were crafted with references to the show, and the quirky phrases become quite addictive.

Also, among KAT-TUN’s songs, it features a bright, pop sound.

Singing Akanishi-kun’s parts at karaoke feels really good.

WHITEKAT-TUN

The sound of the bus creates a rhythm, and the familiar melody makes it a perfect song for graduation.

Tanaka-kun’s rap adds freshness and sparkle, and just when you think he only does hardcore rap, the contrast catches you off guard.
